It's obviously not a shock, as his struggles with pancreatic cancer have been well documented, and there was a lot of suspicion that his condition had turned for the worse when he announced he was stepping down as Apple's CEO last month.
I didn't always agree with his approach or management style, and he had a way of being... well... kind of a dick about a lot of things. However, his influence on the tech industry has been undeniable. He and Steve Wozniak pretty much began the personal computer revolution.
That, and nobody deserves to die of cancer.
