Perhaps the nerdiest shit I've ever read on Sports Illustrated, or anywhere, really (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/andy_staples/10/04/star-wars-power-rankings/index.html?sct=cf_t11_a1)

Nick Saban has seemingly built a clone army of perfect defensive specimens
What would Admiral Ackbar say about Clemson's next game? "IT'S A TRAP!"
If Texas A&M keeps collapsing, it'll be reduced to Jar Jar Binks bit player status

It's worth a read just for being completely bizarre. Some of the comparisons are apt, some are a stretch, and some are shameful displays of nerdery. Since it's relevant to two of my favorite interests, I'm subjecting you to it. Maybe I'll even make a few college fans of you yet!

A&M: Like the Gungans, they pretend to be a serious military force, but no one can possibly take them seriously.

Feel free to bullshit other random pairings.

Minnesota should be Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. Sure, before a few coaching changes, you might think they showed a bit of life, but after being "Kill"ed (by stormtroopers from North Dakota State), the cupboard is clearly bare, and there's not a lot of talented meat on those bones.

Miami is Alderaan for reasons so obvious.

Don't get Clemson as Admiral Ackbar, unless they are saying Clemson is a trap for some teams.

They're saying that Clemson's game this weekend is a trap game, and it is.

Also Clemson's history for the past decade is a clinic on how to get blown up in trap games, so it's pretty much Clemson.txt

Well they knew nothing about Boston College this year. BC is god awful this year. Only beaten a 1AA team in UMass. They lost their RB for their year. And Clemson showed up and dominated them. Now Maryland worries me more because of last time they played there.

Tech handled Maryland and I expect Clemson will too (probably). Y'all will probably have Tajh Boyd back from what I hear.

Of course this is completely discounting chaos and the trademark Clemson style of fucking up a Sure Thing, but Clemson controls their own destiny in the ACC.

If Bowden was still coach, I would be more worried.
