The idea that Hollywood is so completely devoid of original ideas that they're now turning to board games is just laughable. There have been the rumors about Ridley Scott and Monopoly for the longest time. And now, we have Battleship.
WTF?
<object width="560" height="349"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qDMXkPfxjOc?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qDMXkPfxjOc?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="349" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
On the plus side, it does have both Liam Neeson and Alexander Skarsgard in it. But overall it looks like a bad Transformers rip-off.
And if anyone anywhere in the movie yells, "THEY SUNK OUR BATTLESHIP!", well... :twak
