I saw this movie today and I found it a great movie. It has a cool concept that is influenced by Quantum Leap. I really liked the the fact that the truth was he was in alternate universe and lived on Wish it had done better in the box office but it deserve some praise as a smart science fiction film.

I liked the ending but I am sucker for that kind of thing. Prefer happy endings to some of the bleak stuff you see in Science Fiction.

I like happy endings if I feel the film has set it up. But I felt the film lead to the more downbeat ending (which still would have been relatively happy in a way?). It seemed to me that it was an ending that was changed after test screenings, though I have no proof of that.

Still like the film overall though.

I haven't seen it yet, but does it have a Deja Vu (the Denzel Washington movie) type of ending?Through time travel, even though it seems impossible, he ends up getting the girl anyway. A yes/no will suffice. :p

More or less, but not exactly.

Highly entertaining movie with a great concept, which can be recommended on that merit alone. Now while it does twist your brain a little, it's not as smart as it wants to be. Especially the ending.

I mean, they are simulating an alternative reality in his brain, electrical impulses in the synapses. So whatever he dreams up should have no impact on the world outside, let alone the past, and even less creating an entire new dimension. They do briefly mention quantum mechanics, except what they are doing has about as much to do with quantum mechanics as a bicycle wheel.

Overall though, for entertainment value, I'd give it about 8/10
