Fantasy Football

Since it appears we will have a season was wondering if anybody was interested in another season of fantasy football. It will probably be the same rules as last year and I will restart up the league on yahoo to make it simpler. It is free and a lot of fun. If anybody has any questions let me know.


I was also planning on having the draft probably on a Sunday either August 28 or September 4th, but I am open to other dates.

I created the league and the league ID is 161619
PW is vader23 and the name is swfansnet. I had to set the draft for September 4 at 130 PM EST time. I couldn't set it for either sunday because they only times available were unreasonable. I sent out invites to everybody who participated last year but anybody is welcomed to play. If you have any questions or problems let me know.

Of course you can do better. Some of it is luck in terms of getting the right players. This season should be interesting since the lockout has created a short preseason. I am afraid a lot of players will get hurt. So, never fear anybody could win this thing.

I am bumping this as a reminder for those who haven't joined. We also need one more to keep the head to head scoring. I rather not go to the other method. Still, missing a few from last year of course I haven't seen jjwr on here in a while. But if anybody else wants to join or you know someone who wants to join just use the above information to create a team in the league.

I had to change the draft time to 6:15 EST. If there is a problem with the time let me know. Also, we need one more player, as we can't draft with odd number teams. We could go to the other scoring system. But head to head is more fun. Anybody else interested or know someone who might want to play?

I don't get the defense. The Jets got killed and I got 28 points. I didn't watch the game so I guess the Jets got a lot turnovers and must have scored a TD on one of them.

The Ravens scored like 3 defensive touchdowns. Since the Ravens D scored them against the Jets O, it doesnt subtract from the defense.

I totally suck today - I KNEW I had two RBs from Oakland, and I was sure I was only playing McFadden, but sure enough I played BOTH today. Urgh. Fun times.

Thankfully the Indy WR I picked up to cover my bye week players had an amazing game. Now I'm just praying that Brady passes to Walker like... a lot more.

I should have bumped this last week but got too busy. So, this weekend is the finale. So it is between Morgan and myself for the championship. Each of us have question marks at QB. Don't know how long Brees or Rodgers will play. I think it will be a close championship.

Yeah that happens at the end of the season. I might have that problem this weekend. Not sure if I should start Orton. He might not even play a half. I am tempted to start Orton since he could have a big game against his former team.

Jordy Nelson was one of my best non-obvious pickups this year by far.
