Need some writing practice.

Hello everyone. Hope you didn't miss me too much. :)

I've been working on a story project lately and having trouble with it. I think it would be a good idea if I took a break from it and did something different for the purpose of recharging batteries and getting perspective. I kinda figure you folks around here might be the type to need someone for a story or two, so I'm sort of throwing out an offer.

What I'd like is to stretch my creative legs a bit and play an entirely different character than the ones I've done in the past. Alternatively, I could see myself playing a past character in an entirely unusual setting. I imagine this not really going any further than one, maybe two threads at most, although I can guarantee regular posting. With that in mind is anyone at loose ends and looking to tell a story they need someone for?

By entirely different what sort of character are you thinking? I'd love to drag you into something but I don't have anything in mind off the top of my head. Perhaps a flashback thread for one of my characters in the mutant universe...?

Haha, well entirely different meaning "Not write Pierce or Hob etc" as I've written them in the past. Pretty much anything other than that is fair game.

I've had a bit of an idea floating around in my brain for a few weeks that I've been unsure about how to start. Would be pretty open ended on your end, so not sure if you are looking for an environment where you can just go open, or if you want something where there is something already a bit developed in terms of a character for you to play.

Doesn't honestly matter to me. My real goal, like I said, is to write something OTHER than what I've been writing for the past couple months (and I don't mean 'Fans stuff). I need a break from that, but I can't get out of the writing habit right now or I'll lose my momentum.

So if anyone wants me to be part of something, hit me up on AIM or post here.

I seriously would like to do such a thread, though. I have some ideas, and I need a target. The reason for having him killed could open up a ton of possibilities, though. :)
