I am. The game is fun, although on the 360 at least the online multiplayer is sometimes incredibly lagtastic. Team-based shooters are always fun and I enjoy them for the strategy involved but the game itself feels so unbalanced. Many of the maps possess unfair choke points from which it is easy to halt the progress of the opposite team. Beyond a few other classes to push objectives, a team composed of all medics is a surefire win scenario since weapons are restricted to body size instead of class. A bunch of heavy body type medics with miniguns and the ability to heal themselves, others, and revive down teammates makes for a pretty unfair advantage. I played in a group with my brothers (5 total) and we could pretty much steamroll through any opposition due to our communication advantage. The maps are limited and the game does not feel as vast as they promised. A few features seem to be missing, but we can hope for some DLC down the road to even things out. A lot of the guns are underpowered, the attachments are basic, and you run out of ammo in a moment without a Soldier class to restock you, and worst of all the "Spy" class is almost worthless beyond their related map-specific objectives. If they had an instant kill back stab like the Spy in Team Fortress they would be much better off but instead you have to de-masquerade first before you can shoot and melee attacks do little damage and serve only to knock people down (which is completely useless since most players pick up the feat/perk that allows you to shoot while knocked down). Their key feature, the smart moving parkour seems very limited and ultimately doesn't really accomplish anything. You can try all the fancy wall runs and jumps you want but it really only helps you escape, not fight. Since only the light body type can wall jump you get plucked out of the air every time by your fragility.

All in all it feels like an unfinished game. I feel that they might have gotten pushed to a deadline and cut features and lost out on polish in the process. I'm hoping they add more features in DLC, such as new maps or new game types. Currently the mission objective is tied in to the map but I could a tug of war hostage or more capture the flag dedicated game types being a lot of fun with this game. At the moment I feel like I've wasted my money on what was promised to be more than it turned out to be, but I will attempt to redeem it in some way.

Also, leveling is a chore if your playing any class that is not the soldier or medic. I've been playing the Spy and I'm lucky if I get 1,000 experience by the end of the match because you don't get many kills or get much experience for spy-related objectives. Boo...

I bought it yesterday on the way home from work and have started going through the challenges to unlock all the weapons etc. Having real trouble with the final difficulties on the escort and tower defense challenges. I could use some help if anybody is online when I get home around 3pm (playing the PC version).

What I'm getting frustrated about with these two challenges is that in a real game I wouldn't be expected to escort a vehicle alone, or defend a position alone without reinforcements at some point. I just want to get the guns all unlocked so I can be on an even keel with everyone else when playing online. Then I can get cracking on unlocking the customisation options to make a badass Resistance member. I really want that mask and dreadlocks to look like a Predator! :)

My mate informs me I have to do the challenges alone in order to unlock the gear...

Now I find out that I don't need to finish the third difficulty since it unlocks nothing. LOL! Time to enjoy the game properly! :)

My brother did the mask and dreads for the predator look. It's pretty sweet. Having to do the challenges first to get all the guns is kind of annoying. My Brothers and I all played together but we each started up at different times so we had to wait the hour-ish time needed to do all the 2 star challenges before we could hit the interwebs.

I heard tell that the PC version has less problems online than the 360, and obviously the PS3 cannot be tested at this time. I read online that Brink had a fix go into effect to make the game less laggy by reducing the number of plays online to 8 instead of 16 (the other slots being filled with bots I would assume) but I haven't seen any sign of these effects as the online is still a lagfest. I have to join a half dozen games before I find one that has a stable host, or whatever it takes to not lag. Definitely sucks, but the game is enjoyable once you find a server that works for you.
