Can we update the forum description?

Not to complain, but those titles are like a decade old. :p

How about we put some newer titles in? Let's have some suggestions. :)

The most recent Star Wars game I played was The Force Unleashed in 2008. I thought Episode III on the Nintendo DS was great! As for the forum itself, the only Star Wars game really being discussed at the moment is The Old Republic. The most active threads aside form that are the Steam deals one and the 'what are you playing' thread. I don't see why the forum description needs to mention specific titles at all.

Good point. I guess "current generation games", "timeless classics", "special deals for all platforms" and the "personal gaming experience in general"(Like the infamous Fallout New Vegas discussion that I consider very enjoyable although I still need to buy a new Fallout Game the other day :) )

The Force Unleashed and The Old Republic were my first 2 thoughts. Maybe Lego Star Wars as well (not sure how old it is)?

Of course, we can throw in the classics like Knights of the Old Republic, or even Dark Forces (and Jedi Knight) if you want to go real retro. ;)

EDIT: and does this forum just have to be about video games? Maybe just 'gaming' in general (I play boardgames at my local club, just saying). :)

This forum isn't just about video games. It's the 'Gaming' forum, not the 'Video Gaming' forum. Jenny posted a thread about D&D, and I remember one or two threads about Warhammer. The fact remains though that the video games industry is the largest entertainment industy, so naturally such threads will dominate.

I know, but the current description lists only computer games then ends of with 'discuss video games in general', which gives the impression the forum is intended for video game discussion only. I'm just suggesting we should just say 'gaming' to make it clearer.

Using some suggestions above, how's this for a description:

Discuss current generation games, timeless classics, special deals for all platforms, or personal gaming experiences in general.

(Not games in general, because then you might have people thinking about actual sports games, rather than the Video game incarnations).
