Being that I purchase all of my games through Steam (:angel) I haven't experienced any of these before - but some of them are especially good.

That japanese hentai one is fucking awesome. The fact that they even mentioned the installation of a trojan in the Terms of Service is genius!


Most sources seem to imply that the developers themselves uploaded the trojan. Is that even legal? In this case, it actually is: The nature of the virus was mentioned and explained in the installer's Terms of Service agreement (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_Days#Trojan_scare) -- thus proving that even the companies know nobody reads those things.

Awww man, I could imagine the hilarity of Blizzard doing something like the #6 with WoW, where you're fighting the final boss, only to have your game freeze up, drops you out of your account, and you log back in to see all of your characters deleted. :lol

I remember that happening fairly frequently, and usually at inopportune moments, with the exception of the 'characters deleted' part :p
