Yeah. I am finding myself consistently at a loss when it comes to what to do with SW chars.
If there is any particular char you are especially fond of and want me to carry on RPing as - either in a current thread or something new - please post here!

Maybe we can put our heads together and maybe find a way to get Wei back into the SW world?
I'm also at a loss as to what to do with him. He was my first character on these boards. I'd love to see him active again.

I would offer to write with Wei as Kyle, but he's been locked away in Imperial custody for a long while now.

This gives me an idea. But who is holding him, and where?
And Should I write Wei as Drunken Whiskey Priest Jedi, or shall I go Classic Wei?

Dare I ask what the difference is?

Classic Wei was clear-headed, easy going, and almost naive. He enjoys Force Boosting and Lightsaber combat because it's direct and comes naturally to him.
Whiskey Priest Wei is hard on himself, cynical, convinced he's the worst Jedi ever, drinks until the smell overpowers banthas, but still somehow finds himself compelled to do the right thing when he finds himself in a situation where he's needed. His combat training in all the Lightsaber forms (currently in progress: He's only really Familiar with Forms I, III, and VI) helps to clear his mind and shake his alcoholism. When he starts to crumble into the Dark Side, he loses himself in the hum of the lightsaber and can refocus. It takes time though.

Cool :) my Jedi isn't nearly that intricate a character yet.
I vote for the latter, for what its worth :D

Yeah, once I posted the two summaries and saw how much more I had to work with in Whiskey Priest Wei, it pretty much summed it all up.
The original intent was to send him on this monstrous sort of Spirit Quest to learn the remaining lightsaber forms from holocrons or the ghosts of the Jedi Masters best known for them. Never quite took off.

Sounds like it'd be an epic thread. You should still try to do it *nods sagely*
And now that we've hijacked Jenny's thread... >.>
;)
What's your idea & do you need help?

Which idea? Breaking out Kyle or getting Wei to master all seven lightsaber forms?
For Kyle, I need a way to know he's imprisoned, find a way to get in, get him out, and survive.
As for the lightsaber forms, I'm going to need to do a lot of research. But the essentials are that I'm going to need a way for Wei to get around. Whether it's a dedicated ship he travels on, or steals, or borrows, is not that important.
I will, however, need a Jedi Master and a location for each Form thread to take place. I'll make a separate thread for all that later.
I also need to hit wookiepedia and do a lot of research. I wish I hadn't lost my notes.

It'll be a little while yet, but if Kyle is being held on Fondor, you could stage a rescue during the Alliance counterattack on the planet and its shipyards.

I meant with the rescue :) and I have no idea how you'd find out IC where the INQ has Kyle stashed away.

Kyle is imprisoned by the Inquisition. In a high security prison. I don't know if Karl Valten is still around but if he is I could try and get our thread with Kyle in prison necromancied. The thread is here: http://sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=16899 . It looks like he has Kyle in a pretty top notch facility, underground, on Coruscant.
EDIT: Kyle has a ship, which I do not think was seized when he was arrested, but could have been impounded for being left in the local starport. Could always break that out of impound and fly away.

Looks like Kyle is imprisoned deep in the prison sub-levels of the Citadel Inquisitorius...yes, on Coruscant. I'm certain you'd have oodles of fun getting him out.
Sel also has a ship [Mitternacht]. It is rather similar to Dash Rendar's Outrider.
