Today, we were studying link diagrams and using them as a way to explain some of the complexities of insurgent organizations, using it as a basis of analysis, blah blah, so on and so forth. Anyways, I used Star Wars as an example, namely using Luke Skywalker as the focus with the Rebel Alliance as a terrorist/insurgent organization; and ended up speaking for roughly four, maybe five hours about it. The time frame I used was from the beginning of the Jedi Purge and the briefing was supposed to be taking place right after the Imperial Intelligence had confirmed the death of Jabba the Hutt.
Best part was when the instructor began to ask questions that indicated he was more than familiar with the subject. Nice to know one is not alone in the combat arms realm concerning their interests in Star Wars.
