I knew the Bears would win with Thigpen starting for Miami. He sucks.

That isn't what lost the game for Miami. It was a banged up offensive line and the idiotic game plan to only get about 10 total touches for Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams.

That said... the Bears are starting to annoy me. There is no way they are as good as their record.

As per usual, Liam Jinn is piggybacking my picks. Although he's definitely picking against Dallas this week.

Liam Jinn

Hahaha, You sir, are a douche. I don't even pick against Dallas when they play good teams.

Dragon
Nov 21st, 2010, 01:52:00 PM
You should have just said that Liam is picking against you in every game. ;)

Richard Seymour just got ejected from the game for punching Ben Roethlisberger. Yet somehow the Steelers are running away from the Raiders in penalty yardage.

EDIT: Ugh, the refs are doing their level best to torpedo this game. They took a Steelers pick-six off the board on a completely invented roughing the passer call, and they can't watch a running play without throwing a flag for holding. Then they called a personal foul on a Steelers lineman for pulling a Raider off the pile at the end of a scrum when they should have blown the play dead. This is absolutely ridiculous.

The Jaguars game had ridiculous amount of turnovers, mainly thanks to Garrard throwing the ball as if he was drunk. Garrard also stood hypnotized watching as the defenders rushed him at least a couple times and got sacked because of that.

However, the best guy on the field was unquestionably Maurice Jones-Drew, and won it pretty much singlehandedly for the Jaguars.

My survivor pool streak ends. But, how was I supposed to know the Titans would play the fourth quarter and OT with their third string emergency QB.

I don't think it helped. He has no business as a starting QB. I remember him with the Chiefs and he stunk then. About the Bears, I am shocked by them too. I think they will make the playoffs but the Packers should win the division.

The Vikings may stink this year, watching the Packers pummel them in the Humpty Dump and having Aaron Rodgers completely outplay Brett Favre made for as satisfying a win as any in perhaps the past three seasons.

Jedi Master Carr

Philly won a tough game over the Giants, taking control of the division.

So, what about the mess in Tennessee? I am not sure what to make of Young but they are in a mess at QB. Collins is probably done for the year and if Young doesn't come back they are down to Rusty Smith. And he looks awful to me, the titans have problems in the locker room with many disgruntled players from Randy Moss to Chris Johnson. I think Fisher has lost his team and they will lose the next 6 games (4 of those games are against teams above .500 and the other two are Houston). I can't see Rusty Smith leading them anywhere. Fisher probably should be fired for the way has handled the team this year. Players getting out of control like this is his fault. It reminds me of Marty Schottenhimer's last season in Kansas City.

Dragon
Nov 22nd, 2010, 10:34:32 AM
It's a shame if that's the case; Fisher is the longest-tenured active coach and one of the classiest coaches in the league right now. If he is fired, I'm sure he won't go without a job for long.

As for what happened in Cincinnati yesterday - stunning, even to someone well acquainted with the Bungles and their many ways of losing. You have a team coming off a six-game losing streak - each of those games lost by a single score, and the last two the result of a comeback effort falling just short against heavily favored teams - and they finally put together an offensive explosion like we haven't seen all year and go up 28-7, only to give up 35 unanswered points and be shut out in the second half by a team that just got its first win of the season last week. Not only did the Bengals lose to the only team in the conference with a worse record than them, that loss now puts them squarely in last place in the AFC and within spitting distance of the number-one-overall draft pick. What's worse, the only team left on their schedule that doesn't have a winning record is Cleveland, who already beat them earlier this season and has only improved since then.

I suspect this is a bad time to go visit bars in Cincinnati.

So the Vikings have a new coach since Brad Childress got canned today. Muhahahaha! :evil

It is about time with him. They should have fired him a few weeks ago.
