Oh, the Bengals? They're coming off a bye and have to be feeling the desperation factor after a bad home loss against the Buccaneers. They'll definitely bring their A-game to Atlanta!
Ahahaha, I kill me.
In other news: B. Roethlisberger + M. Wallace + single coverage = :dance

Holy crap! Jordan Shipley's first NFL TD goes for 64 yards, and then Adam Jones stripped the ball from Roddy White and returned it 59 yards for another TD. All of a sudden, the Bengals are ahead 25-24!
Meanwhile, in Miami, the Steelers are getting hammered by injuries... the offense needs to find a way to stay on the field and give their defense a break, because Chad Henne is moving the ball way too easily right now. Come on, Steelers!

The Bills aren't any more... and it's not how are the Browns beating the Saints, it's how are they destroying them? Did the they borrow someone else's D for the day or something?

Wow. I cannot believe what just happened in Miami...
I hope the Steelers can hold on, but it's sounding (listening on radio, not getting it on TV) like Miami was robbed. Roethlisberger tried a QB draw on 3rd and goal from the one, and the refs signaled a TD. Tony Sparano challenged, as he lost the ball while crossing the goal line, and the Dolphins came up with it from the pile. After a very lengthy review, the ref announced that they had confirmed that Ben lost the ball before crossing the goal line, so it was a fumble. However, they were not able to see definitively who took possession of the ball, so they did not award possession to the Dolphins. The Steelers got a 4th and goal from the one and kicked a FG to go up by one point.
I know this one's going to be talked about until we're all tired of it...
And the Dolphins go 4-and-out, so Steelers win! :eek

The Chiefs looked great in the second half. They kicked the crap out of the Jags. They are by far the best rushing team in the NFL, avg 177 yards a game. What a game by Kenny Brit over 200 yards and 3 TDs. I am glad I have him on my fantasy team :dance I don't get the Saints. They aren't the same team that won the SB.

W00t! Come from behind victory for TB, after they were down 17-3 earlier in the game. And wow, a couple of real shockers this week as usual.

The Bills have just tied it at 34 on a 50-yard field goal with four seconds left!

Baltimore kicks the FG to win the game. Buffalo is the only winless team now. They will have a tough time going into KC and trying to get a win next week.

Denver looks horrible one of those TD come from a TO the other special teams. The AFC west is freaky weird this year.

Maybe we shouldn't be so surprised at the Browns handling New Orleans - the Browns have now beaten the defending Super Bowl champ three years in a row: the Giants in 2008, the Steelers in 2009, and now the Saints in 2010.
Hooray for useless stats!

Now 31-0, I see. A definite shocker. :eek
The Niners losing to the Panthers was painful. And yeah, I think Miami got robbed, although I'd picked the Steelers. It sure looked like the Dolphins recovered the ball, it just seems kinda weird to me.
As I suspected, I'm already regretting picking the Chargers. They are absolutely killing themselves with errors. Although just sacking Brady twice in a row was nice to see. So apparently the defense is playing well today, it's the offense that sucks.

Few things about the Steelers-Dolphins game...
The call was missed on the field, and I believe that if it had been ruled a fumble, the refs probably would have ruled that the Dolphins recovered it. I can't say for sure, since I didn't see it live, but the replay showed Steelers guard Doug Legursky covering the ball while two Dolphins were grabbing for it. There really was no footage showing who recovered the ball, which is why those decisions are almost always impossible to overturn. So the head ref's decision in replay was absolutely correct, as rough as it was for the Dolphins.
Also, that by no means was handing the game to the Steelers. There was 2: 37 left on the clock, and the Steelers had all their timeouts. If the Dolphins had been given the ball on the twenty, the Steelers would have had to stop them from gaining a first down. If successful, they'd probably be starting with favorable field position just inside the two minute warning with one timeout to play with, and Ben has a history of game-winning drives in the fourth quarter.
As it was, the Dolphins had 2: 37 and one timeout (until they foolishly spent it before the field goal). They then took the ball on the kickoff against a depleted Steelers defense needing only a field goal to go ahead. What happened? The Steelers stopped them from getting a first down - exactly what they would have needed to do if the call had gone the other way.
I'm sure the Dolphins would rather have one more chance to stop the Steelers, and you could argue the pressure of regaining the lead was worse than the pressure of protecting a lead. It's hard luck for the Dolphins, certainly, but it wasn't a game-deciding call.

Wild ending in San Diego, as New England holds on barely with a missed FG by Brown. I had a feeling he would miss it since he missed several big ones with Houston in the past.

I also am just flabbergasted that the Raiders scored 59 points today. :eek

Terrible news for the Steelers. Aaron Smith, the best run-stopping defensive end in the league, is out for the season with a torn triceps. The last two times the Steelers lost Smith, their run defense went straight to crap, and they went from an elite team to a marginal team.
Of course, this time they'll have 2009 first-round pick Ziggy Hood to plug in at the left end spot, and hopefully he'll be able to pick up some of the slack, but this is a very nasty blow for a defense that's already facing injury problems.
