I just want to remark something at this point for next years rules:
I think the inclusion of double point weekends and special rules for certain movies a little bit inbalanced. This summer had a lot of damp squib/non-starter movies that basicly did not live up to the fact that we gave out additional points.
On the other hand double point weekends might give competitors an awesome lead if they end up scoring nearly every movie right while other competitors have awesome weekends but do not have the fortune to score those on a double point weekend.
So my suggestion is to maybe revamp the double point weekends and/or add a system where everyone gets his best 2 weekends doubled(double point weekends excluded) and his worst 2 weekends removed(as always).

It is something we could consider. Really, though we didn't have that many double weekends, just Memorial Day, the 4th, Labor Day, and we had double points for Toy Story 3. Memorial day did have some bad movies, but the 4th did have regardless if you love it or hate it Twilight, and Toy Story deserved a double points. Labor Day is always rough because nothing usually opens on it. I am open to suggestions next year, also could consider the schedule. I know next summer has some larger movies (mainly sequels, the Final Harry Potter Movie, Pirates, Transformers). But I am open to change.
