I'm feeling a little confused by this thread, in terms of which ships are where and doing what. Could someone give me a little summary?

Lemme do my best John Madden impersonation. Imagine we're looking at a big picture of space and I'm drawing on the screen with a magic pen.

Okay, here goes:

Decimator is at the center of the action. Her engines are severely damaged due to Berserker ramming her aft quarter, and her main hangar bay has been severely damaged due to Akrabbim's sabotage, forcing the emergency bulkheads to seal it and cut it off. Because of this damage, and due to heavy losses in all TIE squadrons, she's ordered all TIEs off their missions and back to close support of the mother ship instead.

Immediately to the starboard (ie, right) of Decimator is Valiant, which is currently weathering the Star Destroyer's starboard turbolaser bombardment, while coordinating fighter assaults and providing jump coordinates to each ship one by one.

Forward and port (ie, left) of Decimator is Whaladon. With Esk squadron peeling back and Cresh and Dorn aborting their attack, Whaladon should be nearing the time to make the jump to light speed, since it's indicated that other minor Jedi ships (I'm assuming Knightfall and such) have already done so. Also in this vicinity is the large swarm of fighters from Rogue Squadron, Esk, Cresh, and Dorn, and the approaching fighters from challenger, not to mention the shuttle Tera's on and Layla. The major action here has been broken since the TIE squads are in retreat.

Some distance away, portside from Decimator is Challenger, approaching fast with the intent on cutting Decimator off of a pursuit vector to allow the rest of the ships time to escape.

Did I do a good job of explaining?

Don't forget the Intrepid: the Nebulon-B that showed up with the Challenger. She's probably loitering behind the Decimator like some creepy guy at a party, constantly staring at her aft.

Also don't forget it was the Thunderbolts, not the Rogues, what pulled your pansy shuttle-steering butts out of the fire! :mneh

We're very close to the end of this, so I think if folks want to RP the jump to hyperspace, you could probably go that route now.

Tera and Kylie already jumped away, I think they're gonna have some adventures together.

No, not that kind of adventure.

:spank One's never know. We end up at Zeltron and all bets are off. Who wants to de-brief us?

Fixed!

Though ending up at a Zeltron could be infinitely amusing.
...That is not an open invite to you rebel types. :twak

I once again would like to state that I am so glad I'm not related to you two. :|

...I probably should post to the actual thread, huh?

I know we haven't quite finished this thread, but I went ahead and started a thread (http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21366) to cover all of the changes to the Wheel, and what not. Since this stuff happens prior to the Serena arc, I figured it was worth getting it going so that we're all more or less established by the time the rescue is done. :uhoh

Timeline wise, it happens long enough after Entanglements for Razor and Spoon to get back from wherever their little adventure took them; and at the same time that some of the Jedi kids and ground crew are off on Lethe, hunting for scraps to fix up the ships.

The pilots are probably the most critical people to be there, but if any of the Jedi want to be present so they can hear the brief too, they're more than welcome. Assume that the big-wigs have already been told what is going on though - so Council guys are welcome, but assume you know everything already.
