Pimpa'h....scares me. There used to be a game I played called X:COM Terror from the Deep that featured floating brains called Tentaculats. They were horribly frightening to fight, and were fast, hard to kill, and if they touched one of your troopers, they could paralize them instantly, then either kill them the next round or lay an egg in their chest to make them into a zombie thing that you killed...hatching another Tentaculat.

I hate them so much I hate them I hate them I hate them and thus that hate and fear transfers to Pimpa'h and, alas, I can never RP with Pimpa'h. Not for anything he's done or not done, but because Tentaculats still make me wake up in a cold sweat.

How much trouble did Tionne get in on a regular basis under the old Jedi Order? I'd think even Qui-Gon would have a word or two to say to her...

Ah, trouble... Tionne's middle name... :lol

Tionne's gradfather Halard was always the real troublemaker, threading the fine line between light and dark as a Jedi Shadow back in the day. He was a great asset, but difficult to control. The Council kept that in mind when recommending a master for Tionne, one that would nourish her rational side she inherited from her parents and grandmother. However, Tionne hardly turned out a docile preacher like the rest of the Jedi, so she was assigned as a Jedi Watchman.

Dealing with various strata of galactic society only amplified her inherent cynicism, eventually making her kind of brash and big-mouthed. Surely, it got her into trouble on a regular basis, but nothing she could not handle. It was usually the other way around - other Jedi called upon her where there existed a seemingly unsolvable situation.
Also, Hutts seem to appreciate her sense of humour, so she's usually on good terms with them, unlike the rest.

She knew them, yes. Not on a very personal basis, but the Council knew who she was. Hard not to spot such a big-mouth... ;)
And her padawan years? Well, as a youngling, she was quite different than the rest. Other kiddies teased because she was such a little braniac, which resulted in a specific sense of humour later on. I'd say Tionne's padawan years were typically untypical! I guess it was quite a relief to be trained by the heterodox Demitri Drahmin away from the Jedi Temple, out in the real world.

When she first met her grandfather at the age of fourteen, he gave Tionne a pipe. It's the very same pipe she smokes today. So yeah, the X-ray of her lungs is probably as black as Palpatine's soul... :lol
Usually, she smokes a mixture of herbs and tobacco. Not entirely legal herbs too. :lol I imagine it smells something like incense. If you ever attended a mass in a Greek Orthodox church, you will know the scent.

When I first transferred her, I had no idea who Tionne was, since she kind of disintegrated in the process of RPing at SWRPG. It took several months, a lot of introspection and RPing for her to start panning out just the way I wanted. The common sense rule helped a lot; I didn't have to justify every single perk of her character in front of the mods. Yes, she's not exactly your picture perfect Jedi, but a living, breathing, flawed person. Once I get to know her even better, I will rewrite her wiki and set in a definitive backstory. Trying to be consistent here.
But yes, I very very much like how she's turned out so far. Thanks for inviting me over, Jen! :glomp
