Cayle Briggs
Aug 9th, 2010, 10:38:05 AM
Name: Cayle Lumos Briggs
Age: 38 Standard Years Old
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Planet of Origin: Fondor
Height: 6ft 2in
Weight (Lbs): 218 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Steely Gray

Position: Moff of Quence Sector (headquartered at Elshandruu Pica)

Weapons: Vibroblade, Chrome DL-44 Blaster
Uniform: Body Armor under Black Imperial Style Moff uniform
Primary Starship: Carrack Class Cruiser "Sepulchre"

Force Powers: Force Concealment, Doppelganger, Force Listen, Force Push, Force Blast, Force Choke, Levitation, Telekinesis, Telepathy, Force Jump. (These are the powers that Cayle has developed, but only to the point of being able to use them to defend himself. He is secretly looking for someone to train him in the force.)

Personality: Cayle is cold and calculating, possessing a penchant for playing opponents off on each other. With his friends and colleges that he respects, he is generous and compassionate. With his enemies, he is brutal and heartless. Cayle is loyal to the ffice:smarttags" />Imperial Way, but the Inquisition holds a special allure for him. What he keeps hidden is that he is a Force User, but hasn’t received extensive training in any aspect of it. He has used the force subtly to advance his way to Moff.

Appearance: Cayle is tall and slender, but it does not diminish his intimidating manner. He has pale skin and black hair. If the eyes are the windows to the souls, then through his eyes you can see what hell will be like.

History: Cayle grew up on Fondor the only child to an Imperial Captain and his mistress. The fact that his father was a Captain meant that Cayle saw him very little. As such, he has a detachment from personal relationships. The one thing he does remember from his father was the sense of power that he commanded. He would order his crew to do something and they would do without question or hesitation. Cayle knew that he wanted that kind of power. His force powers come from his mother, who trained him in the basic aspects of the force. Soon he was using the force to manipulate the people around him. He found that the more he used it, the more that people hated him, so he only used it when it was necessary and practiced in secret.

When he reached his late teens, he was accepted into the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comhttp://www.sw-fans.net/forum/ /><st1:Street w:st=<st1:address w:st=" />Carida Military Academy. Though he proved capable in all aspects of training, he really excelled at command aspect the military. He would issue orders and people would do them. The aura around him was intimidating, but no one knew that he was using the force to subvert the will of those he ordered around.

He graduated from Carida when the Galactic Civil War was just heating up. The first Death Star had just been destroyed and Cayle was anxious to prove his worth. He was torn between two different futures… one with the Imperial Navy and one where he could convince Luke Skywalker to train him.

Neither was meant to be. While Cayle continued in his career with the Navy, eventually earning the rank of Captain, Luke Skywalker was killed at Endor with a most of the talented Imperial Officers. During the upheaval that followed, Cayle was approached for a different path to follow. As Warlords tried to break away, several of the traitorous Moffs broke away from the Imperial to form their own empires. These small fiefdoms were eventually brought back in line and the Moffs were executed for their crimes. Seeing a chance to rule a sector instead of a mere ship, Cayle agreed. He was made the Moff for one of the Quence Sector in the Outer Rim Territories.

EDIT: the fleet is based on a typical sector group with a few changes.

Welcome back. I've (unintentionally) hijacked the Avarice for some operations with a fleet, but you can have it back if you want it.

I've got a few more brutal subjugation posts to throw up (I forgot to take my CDs to work with me last week so I could transfer the posts), but Avarice will be transferred back to your command shortly.
