Maybe I missed someone already mentioning this, but have we confirmed whether the rescue is taking place in the day or the night? I was a bit stumped on how to describe things.

Good point. I would assume we'd make the raid at night. It's not like Coruscant is any less crowded day or night, but we'd at least have SOME cover of darkness. Unless some other reason forces it to be during the day.

The monolithic dark surface ahead peeled back in a blinding sliver of light, gradually revealing the broad daylight Coruscant skyline. Easing up on repulsors, I retracted the skids, and pushed out into Layla's thrust wash, giving a gentle push as I eased the shuttle's own engines into gear, sending us on a salient skylane that would carry us to Coruscant's underbelly (http://www.sw-fans.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21206).

No, in the Sanis Prent quote, that was the shuttle he was piloting. It left the Layla and took Team Two down into the Coruscant undercity. Team Three, still in the Layla, are above the surface and piloted by Cirrsseeto towards a landing platform(which, presumably, is on the surface).

I figure we want to try to stash the bikes somewhere safe so our getaway vehicles don't get blowed up, right? Or, Morgan's post made it sound like maybe we're literally just gonna fly in guns blazing.

No need for an intricate plan. This doesn't strike me as a stealthy team, and I'm okay with that. They're doing enough sneaking over on team 2.

But just a general outline to work with would be hepful. :o

Finally posted, and I sort of went the kill first ask questions later route. I can edit if needed...wasn't sure how tight the cordon was supposed to be where we're going through, so someone thwap me if I got it wrong :)

What is the basic attack idea for this? Mara and Loki are mowing down the guards, Drin is covering Corell and Morgan as they fly on towards the emitter...

Mara has the explosives but no swoop - did it just keep flying after she jumped off it? :p

No, she killed the engine so it would stop (allowing for some residual movement from her speed and her leap off of it). She'll go back and get it since Loki doesn't want help and head up to the generator with the others.

Drin, I'm not sure if I misread your post or not, but everything on Mara adds bulk to her form and shifts with her when she takes on her feline shape. So its not like she's a cat running around with a backpack on...that would just be silly :)

Loki doesn't want help? Loki wants to get on Mara's bike with her and get back to the mission at hand. The only reason he jumped off Corell's swoop was to make sure nothing happened to Mara, and if it did, he would then ensure the explosives made it to the emitter.

Edit: Oh well, now he's stranded. :lol

LD, no worries :) there's nothing set in stone on Wookieepedia or anywhere else I can find about Felacatians and their actual shifting, or about half-breeds, so I'm sort of making things up as I go :)
