His eyes opened to a blinding white light that was proving difficult to adjust to. He could hear the electrical hum of machines it was almost deafening to his ears. His mouth was dry and chalky a he smacked his lips. His body paralyzed as he try to see where the hell he was. His thoughts a jumbled mess not sure exactly who he was even.

Last thing he recalled before waking up was the sensation of his flesh burning away but not from fire something else. Or was his last memory of seeing a man's flesh being eaten away. He wasn't sure as his eyes slowly adjusted to the light and blurry images of shapes started to fill his eyes. He could now here a dripping sound off to his left side but he couldn't make out what it was causing it.

He tried to move his left arm but something heavy was attached pierced through the skin he could feel it now. There was more of these things attached to his other arm and his legs as well. He could here footsteps running towards him along with now annoying beeping sound nearly drowning them out. Muffled voices followed but he couldn't make out what they were saying.

"Who the hells there? Where the hell am I?"

He screamed at the people gathered as his vision cleared a little more. He could see blurred people two females and one male. The male figure leaned over him and started saying some more muffled words. Finally the word's bleed through all the other noise almost like a sharp knife piercing one's heart.

"Mr. Beil we are going to need you stay calm. You are at Coruscant General Hospital."

A hospital that didn't make any sense least of all on Coruscant the last place he remembered being was on Munto Codru. His eyes adjusted some more to clearly show him he was in a hospital hooked up to some machines to prevent his muscles from atrophied. He glanced to his right as the man above him continued tell him to calm down seeing a picture of a family he didn't recognize. One of the two women presumably a nurse was preparing a needle no doubt a sedative.

Without a thought the man despite the pain manage to pull his right arm up. It grasped around the man above him's neck.

"Get the hell off me!"

The man squeezed then shoved the man off him a little bit as he pushed himself painfully up to a sitting position. The man came at him again to try and push him back down to the bed. Cade pushed the man this time clear across the room. The man hit the wall with shock in his face as Cade began pulling pins and needles from his body.

"Get this shit off me!" He screamed at the other woman in the room as everyone was in shock at what he had just done.

"But sir you have been in Coma for ten years?"

He heard what she said but ignored it continuing to pull the atrophied machines out of his body.

"Sir don't do that you will only harm yourself more."

"Piss of if you aren't going to help."

The other nurse came at him then with the needle thinking he was preoccupied. The machine's now of his arm's he reached out quickly grabbing the woman's wrist bending it back even hearing a slight snap. With her wrist bent he jabbed her hand back at her in the abdomen and pushed in giving her the sedative instead.

He went back to ripping the machines off his legs. He then slid to the side of the bed and tried to get up to his feet. His leg's where wobbly as he felt straight to the floor his arms nearly collapsing him face first. He pushed himself back to his feet gingerly taking caution this time as his legs were not full up to the task of walking just yet. Slowly baby step by baby step he inched forward from the bed. The man he had thrown to the corner remarked.

"Remarkable, I haven't ever seen someone adapt so fast."

"Give me something to wear." He said to the nurse he was inching towards.

"Your wife set's some out for you to wear every day hoping you will wake up and go to work."

"My wife is dead, where is clothing?" The nurse pointed to a dresser behind her.

"But she isn't dead your wife Julia comes in everyday to see you and your daughter once a week."

Confusion hit him as he made his way to the dresser ripping off his gown. The name she said sounded so familiar yet not all to him at the same time. Then the mention of a daughter sent him stumbling but he managed to catch himself on the dresser. He had a pounding headache now as he pulled himself up.

"Let me guess her name is Tegan?"

"No sir her name Aliandra."

Cade glanced back at the woman hoping he was giving her the odd look he swore was on his face.

"Oh now that's some messed up shit right there."

He started to look over the clothing in disgust it certainly wasn't his style but he really didn't have much of a choice. He grabbed the casual suit and looked it over one more time.

"Sure this is all I got." Stopping as he noticed his reflection in the mirror. The face unfamiliar yet familiar at the same time. He saw the nurse nod at him in the mirror and noticed the man trying to move towards him again.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, you saw what happened last time?"

He was bluffing because he really had no idea what happened last time. He wasn't even sure if he could ever replicate that result again. But it was enough the man backed away as he started to put on the clothing. The Nurse chiming in the whole time telling him he shouldn't be doing this. He just ignored her whining as he put on the suit looking at that strange face in the mirror one more time as he finished.

"Tell the wife and kid I'm sorry I need to find someone."

Just who exactly that someone was Cade if that was in fact his name wasn't sure. Before he left he looked down at the dresser one more time seeing a badge sitting there. It said Imperial Security Bureau with the name Cade Beil under it. He grabbed the badge and left the room. What followed was the man he had thrown up against the wall yelling out into the hall stop that man. Cade figure it was time to put his leg's to their test as he bolt down the hall way.

Half an Hour Later

Cade looked behind him to make sure no one was following. His steps had gotten surer of themselves as he started to walk casually. He looked around some more until his eyes landed on a Holo phone booth. He looked around a few more times as he walked towards it and got into the device. He stared at its computer screen for a moment.

"White pages please."

The computer brought up another screen with a search function on it. He thought through a long listen of names in the back of his mind. Allot of them seemed made up perhaps they were.

"Last name Van-Derveld, please?"

He wasn't sure why that name was at the top of his list something told him he knew allot of people with that name.

"There are no known Van-Derveld's in are listing."

He gave discouraging look to the computer not that it would fix anything.

"Uh last name Kasajian, please."

The screen start its search process on the name as Cade looked around once more

"There are thirty five known listing for that last name."

Cade thought for a moment.

"Is there and address for one Sorsha or Dalethria?"

The computer started searching.

"There is a number listed but no address for one Sorsha Kasajian, No listing for a Dalethria Kasajian."

Even if he called what would he say he didn't know the woman just the name sounded familiar to him. He again thought through the long list of names but only one more popped out at him as possibly real but he didn't know why.

"Last name Khapst, please."

A list was loading again Cade looked over his shoulder not sure exactly what he was expecting.

"There are hundred listing for the name Khapst."

A hundred what the hell, he wanted to put his fist in this dam computer to show it who was boss. He was about to give up when one name came to him out of the blue.

"Try an address for a Firenne Khapst."

The system started searching it had better find something he told himself. This was his last chance he felt like he was going insane some many memories jumbled in his head nothing made sense. Stuff was out of place, he needed to find someone that he knew or he guessed sort of knew to tell him what was what.

"One Firenne Khapst addresses South Imperial Heights Tower Apartment Thirty Four."

As the computer finished he was out of the booth and out to wave down a taxi. He had no money but hopefully his friend if that's what she was would pay for him. About an hour in he reached the tower, his suit a wrangled mess with a few blood spot's forming from where he had ripped out the medical equipment. He told the taxi to wait as he approached the building hitting every single buzzer. The trick was someone would be too lazy to ask who it was and click him in. He was correct as the door clicked open and he made his way up the stairs.

The place was more upper class making him think his friend might have a little cash again if she was indeed a friend. He made his way to room thirty four hesitating a moment before knocking He held his breath as he waited. Hoping to high hell they where home whoever they were.

After Several knocks no one came to the door in a panic Cade looked around in confusion. What was he suppose to do now, in his head he had several contradicting memories of who he was. What the hell was happening to him he looked forward staring at the door for a few more minutes. What the hell was he supposed to do now, he didn't know anyone else. At least no one that came to mind right off the top of his head.

Finally he stepped away from the door, his shoulders slumped and he walked away. He had no Idea where he would go from here; he could go back and live the life that didn't sound like his own. He could run but he had nowhere to run too and the only thing he would be running from was a life he didn't think was his.

He walked down to the entry door and stared out at the big city of Coruscant it seemed so daunting. The warrior he felt he should be felt defeated. Yet another part of him urged him to fight because for some reason that was all he knew. Cade opened the door to the city and walked out of the building. He didn't know where he was headed but he couldn't let his search for who he really was end here. He couldn't just let himself give up; some driving force in him told him that isn't who he was.

Nexus looked at her messy small infirmary aboard the small ship called Destiny. Oil and grease covered tools were scattered everywhere and Tobiaus's body laid on the table covered with a sheet. His wife Elena was piloting the ship into dock on Coruscant. His son Leo was injured but put himself into work mode instead of letting himself grieve for his father.

That left Nexus the ships medic the only one not related to the family to watch over and grieve for Tobiaus. He was a good man who only wanted to help less fortunate people in the galaxy. Ultimately it was his good will that had gotten him killed. Nexus had chosen to join his crusade when his family came to deliver food and Medical supplies to her home world.

On her planet she was a nobody with moderate medical skills that were not put to use on her home world because she was a woman. Yet Tobiaus gave her a chance where the oppressive government of her world would not. In a way he was the father she never had growing up. As she looked around the dirty multipurpose infirmary slash tool storage unit she tried her best to choke back the tears.

Cade found himself wondering into one of many space ports in the city. He looked at the various ships on different landing pads not really paying attention to any of them. His thoughts were not on the ships at all they were about the predicament he was in.

On one hand he could go back to being this Cade Beil Imperial security agent. He could go back to this family that the nurse said he had but he really didn't even have a fleeting memory of. It just didn't feel right even though he did have memories of being an agent but they seemed so blurry and sporadic almost as if they were part of a fragmented dream.

In the other hand he could walk into the darkness he felt from the other choice. The other side of the coin he was some kind of warrior that rebelled against an Empire but not the Galactic Empire. No on the other side there was no Galactic Empire but another Empire one with darker goals and more insidious plans. An Empire not ruled by an emperor but a council of seven, seven he vowed to kill.

On this other side why he vowed to kill these seven, who the seven where, and what exactly this other empire was, was all unclear to him. All he knew for sure was they did something to him and one of the council did something very personal to him. Yet like the other life it seemed distant both where like dreams vague but he could help but feel the need for vengeance.

This anger was so strong it became clear to Cade that this man that he was or dreamed he was, was not exactly good guy or savior of the galaxy type. Cade tried to push further into both sides but he started to grow frustrated as nothing more seemed to become anymore clearer. He then noticed a small ship coming into with the words "DESTINY" painted on the side.

She heard the squeal of metal straining then the firing of the landing thrusters. With this she knew they had arrived on Coruscant she reached up to her cheeks and pushed away the tears that had been shed for Tobiaus. As she was trying to clean herself up as best she could Leo came in only taking a brief sad look at the table his dead father was on.

He looked quickly to Nexus and told her that they had landed and the port authorities where on their way to investigate. Without another word Leo forced himself out the room not letting another moment linger near his father’s corpse.

Nexus shook her head in acknowledgement without even realizing Leo had already left. She gulped back the lump in her throat and moved to the table where Tobiaus's body was. She slowly rolled back the sheet covering his face. She stared at his face, his stubbly beard, and his long pointed nose. Despite his gruff look Tobiaus had always had a smile on his face, looking at him now without one seemed a shame. He was such a good and generous man that had never done anything to anyone to deserve to be where he was.

He found himself moving towards the ship as if it was some kind of calling. His pace was swift walk just as he was arriving the cargo bay door was opening up. He came to stop and waited for the door to touch down with the pad. He noticed a young man and older woman standing in the small cargo hold sadness clear as day in their faces.

Cade had no idea what he was doing or going to do. He didn't even know why he had been drawn to this ship. It was like the words Destiny triggered something inside of him, something that was still unclear to him. As luck would have it opportunity presented itself to Cade. The man with the woman spoke out to him.

Leo: "Are you with the port authority?"

Cade stared blankly for a moment before patting every pocket he had on the suit he was wearing. In his left jacket pocket he felt the badge he had taken from the dresser at the hospital. He quickly pulled it out and showed it to the woman and man.

"Agent Beil Imperial Security."

The last name slipped out naturally but it didn't feel right as he said it. The name sounded wrong but it rolled off his tongue so easily like he had recited it a thousand times in mirror.

Leo: "Imperial Security I didn't think this would land that far up the food chain?"

"The port authority in this jurisdiction is currently under investigation so Imperial Security is running the show for the time being."

He was amazing himself with the lies he could spin just rolling off like they where nothing. He wasn't sure which reality the lies where coming from it was like he was on auto pilot and someone else was controlling his words and actions. Almost like at the hospital something was driving him to do everything he did. He couldn't even fight it, it was almost like instinctive.

Leo: "Well come aboard then let's get this over with, I have a father to bury."

She put the sheet back over his face as she finished her silent good bye to the man that gave her a chance. She looked around at the mess realizing she didn't have enough time to tidy up the place before the port authority would arrive to start their investigation. No doubt it would be short a bit of questioning then signing some papers.

Then nothing would ever get done it would just be filed away with so many other sad stories. Pirates, thieves, rebels and even imperials killed men everyday what was one more dead man to them. Even if he was doing good in the galaxy trying in a small part to keep it all from crumbling into oblivion.

Nexus just shrugged and gave up going back to the chair she had been sitting just before they landed. She looked back at the table trying to think of what would be next for her in her life. Yet nothing came to mind it was all darkness ahead no light in sight. Under her breath she whispered to herself.

"I will always remember what you did for me Tobiaus, I will never forget. No matter the future holds I will always try to live up to your example."

Nov 27th, 2010, 11:46:50 AM
As the man and the woman led on towards the front of the ship they were talking about a father and husband. Cade wasn't really paying attention keeping a look over his shoulder knowing the real port authority would show up at any moment. He really had no Idea what the plan was from here he was on total auto pilot.

Leo: "So do you have any questions for us? I think we pretty much told you the story. You know pirates, dead father, and now here."

"Huh? What?" Cade glanced forward at them coming to attention. His ears where now drawn to their conversation but his eyes feel on Leo's side arm.

Leo: "Did you catch all that?"

"Uh yeah I got it. Um well are you going to show me the body?"

What the hell was he going to do next; it wasn't like the port authority would be after him. They might hold him, then release him to the family he couldn't remember ever having. So what the hell was he think he wasn't sure it wasn't like anything bad was going to happen to him if he got caught?

As Leo turned away from to hit the switch to open what Cade guessed was a make shift med bay Cade reached out pulling Leo away from the door. He threw Leo back against the other side of the area in the same instant as he did that he grabbed the gun from Leo's holster.

What the frack was he doing he thought to himself as he pointed the gun first at Leo then back his mother. He assumed they were both thinking the same with the looks of shock on both their faces. He wanted to let go of the gun but his hands wouldn't release it no matter how much thought he put into it. Then her himself scream at the woman and man.

"Get off the fracking ship!" He pointed the gun from one to the other as he put slowly backed up putting his back to the med bay door. "Now!"

Why Cade, why the hell are you doing this he was questioning himself in his thoughts. These people didn't do anything to you, in fact you have no proof anyone did anything to you. Was that it did think someone did something to him? He really didn't know but as hard as he tried to fight what he was doing he was unable too.

Slowly the man the woman backed up back into the small cargo bay. They were still in shock but Cade could tell by the man’s throat that he was trying to muster some words. Behind them out the cargo bay doors he could see a couple of men walking towards the ship and by their uniforms they where the authority. The man finally mustered up the words that exited his lips.

Leo: "Wha... what’s going on? We didn't do anything sir?"

Nexus heard the yelling out in the hall her empty thoughts on her future snapped away by reality. She quickly looked around from her seat as she at all the tools scattered about. She had heard someone trying to force Leo and Elena off the ship. Her thoughts were lost in a bit of confusion and panic finally she grabbed the biggest wrench she could find close to her.

She grasped it tight as she stood up slowly moving towards the door. Not exactly sure what her plan was. She reached the door she was about to hit the button but stopped herself just short of pushing it. Instead with her free hand she put her fingers in the crack between the door and the frame. Inside she felt around for a few seconds before her fingers landed on a small button that was the seal release that would allow her to push the door open manually.

She heard the seal release then slid the door open just a crack to peek out in the hall way with one eye. She saw an empty hall so she slid the door open more and cautiously poked her head out the door. Down the corridor into the cargo bay she saw a man in a suit holding Leo and Elena at gun point and could here Leo speak to the man.

Her head quickly popped back in the door and she quickly put her back to the nearest wall. She took a deep breathe and gripped the wrench tight to the point her knuckles started to turn white. She took yet another deep breathe as she waited thinking the man had seen her when Leo took note of her.

With her free hand she slowly reached out and slide the door back shut. It would by her sometime. To do what she wasn't exactly sure but in involved a wrench and possibly the man's face or whatever she hit first. She gripped the wrench so tight her hand began to shake a little as she waited. Fear was in her eyes but she pushed it to the side.

As he looked over his shoulder he didn't see anything. Even though his instincts where telling him something was back there he forced himself to turn back to the man and woman in front of him. They hadn't made a move even though he looked away he still had the gun trained on them.

"I said get off the ship. Just do it and no one gets hurt?"

Leo looked to his mother and then back to the man as they both slowly began to back off onto the ramp. Cade moved forward slowly as they stepped backwards. He looked back behind the two taking note that the authority was stepping up there pass now seeing what was going on as he moved the ship owners down the ramp at gun point.

"Turn and run now!"

It came out as a very commanding shout and without a thought cade lowered the gun and fired a single shot at Leo’s feet into the ramp. They didn't hesitate and turn and ran the rest of the way down the ramp. As they did Cade hit the panel button to lift the ramp? Without even waiting for it to close he turned and jogged his way past the med bay doors into the cockpit area.

Outside the ship the authorities reached Leo and his mother. Frantically they tried to explain what had just happened. Inside Cade was already punching in the takeoff commands. Back outside one of the authority radio to the tower to place in the locking clamps.

She could her the muffled foot falls outside the door they slow just slightly as they passed by the med bay. As they passed Nexus took a slight sigh of relief but it was short lived as she heard the loud clanking sound the ship made when the cargo bay door locks engaged.

She realized without even having to look she was now locked in the ship alone with the man who had, had Leo and Elena at gun point. She took in a deep breath and pried her back away from the wall. She slid the door open as she gripped the wrench tight in her hand.

She was a doctor not a solider or a fighter she thought to herself. Yet something inside her told her what she had to do. She couldn't let this man take the ship, not from the family that gave her so much. Hell knowing the kindness of the family even if this was someone else's ship she couldn't let this scum take what belonged to someone else.

She let the rage of what this man represented swell up inside her and it gave her more courage than she could imagine. She took her first step forward out of the door. Then ship shook and she fell back into the room as the ship lifted off. She fell back on her as but the wrench remained in her white knuckled hand. The pain in there ass was only temporary as she quickly tried to force her way back her feet.

The destiny was on Cade's side as it lifted off before the clamps could get in place. The ship lifted into the skies of Coruscant at slowly increasing pace Cade looked out at the city just briefly before returning to the console. Even before they arrived on radar he knew the port authority would send fighters to attempt to intercept him.

On the ground the authority noticing before the clamps at fully set in place that they would be in place in time was radioing the tower again. He ordered four fighters for an intercept course on Destiny. In the bay four pilots scrambled to their fighters and fired off across the sky to attempt to stop the hijacked vessel. There orders where clear not to blow it out of the sky until it reached sub orbit to prevent ground casualties. Although there goal would be to get the hijacker to turn around before then and turn himself in.

Leo looked to the authority on the radio with a worried look on his face. He knew Nexus was still on board and having to bury his father after all this was bad enough he didn't want to have to bury another person he cared deeply about. In a panic he nearly screamed at the authority on the radio to the tower.

Leo: "There is a hostage on board!"

Authority: "Why the hell didn't you say so in the first place?"

The authority was scrambling for words as he spoke back to the tower nearly as frantic as Leo about the hostage.

Authority: "I repeat do not kill the bird, hostage situation. If he escapes the atmosphere intercept with a tractor beam equipped ship."

The pilot's got relayed the message in short order there job was not to destroy but distract until a ship with a tractor beam could get in position. On board the ship Cade saw the fighter blips appear and go into formation around his much slower ship. He was pushing buttons on the console so fast his brain couldn't keep up with what exactly he was doing.

A shot was fired over the ship Cade knew it was a warning shot and not really knowing what he was doing was hoping he was activating whatever weapons systems this ship might have. Then one of the pilot's cam over his comm system as cade continued to push the buttons on instinct.

Pilot: "By Imperial authority we are authorized to instruct you to turn the ship back around and return to port. You are in violation of several Imperial laws and charges will be less sever if you turn around and turn yourself in. If not we are instruct to take you down by any means possible."

The Pilot was bluffing but he was a veteran and had seen the scare tactic work more times than not. Most people where survivalist by nature so the option to surrender or die tactic had better results. Although he did await confirmation to here that the hostage would be killed if he was not let to fly free. It would also let the pilot know that the hostage was still alive and from there dictate the best course of action.

She had gotten up quickly and slid out the door but stopped and froze for a moment as she saw the man with his back to her. He was franticly typing something the console but she couldn't she what since his body was blocking most of his what he was doing. Then the radio broke open with a pilot speaking to the man and she took that as her cue.

The courage she had gained swelled up inside her some more as her footsteps gained a bit of speed. She raised the wrench above her shoulder as she moved at a swift pass towards the man’s back. She imagined she looked like a crazed lunatic going to smite down the devil himself single handedly.

She came into cockpit in what seemed like forever but was in reality only a matter of seconds. Everything seemed to move in slow motion for her and her senses seemed keener then they ever had. Adrenaline pumped threw her veins a drug produced by the body that seemed at times to give people super human abilities. Her aim was straight for the back of Cade's head.

He spun around from the consol with almost inhuman speed without thinking. Then one hand grabbed Nexus's wrist and his other rapped around her neck. He drove her backwards slamming her against the wall right beside the door. Confusion in his eye's fear in her eyes he stared at her gritting his teeth.

He was battling with the confusion of how the hell he even knew she was there. On top of that what was he going to do with this woman now in front of him? His fractured and confused mind was split in what to do. One side told him to just give up whatever he was planning wasn't worth the risk. The other side told him to snap the woman’s neck and be done with it. While again the other side chimed in she did nothing to she was only defending herself. Then again she failed so and the price should be as equal to whatever she was planning to do to him.

So where in his mind was a third voice that was asking where did this emotion of rage come from. It was more concerned with where all of this was coming from and why it was happening. Who the hell was he a murdered, a survivalist, or just some crazed lunatic arguing with himself.

The pilot on the comm chimed in then.

Pilot: "Do you understand what I have just relayed to you? You will be shot down if you don't turn around. Ask yourself is one old ship worth your life?"

She couldn't breathe he had knocked the wind out of her and the hand around throat was so tight. She tried to gasp for air but nothing came into her lungs. He squeezed her wrist so tight it began to shiver and the wrench fell to the ground loudly.

The man in front of her just stared at her as the fear of her own mortality began to creep up on her. She stared back at him trying to beg for her life the only way she could with her eyes. All she could see in the man’s eyes was a death. She knew in her mind that he was going to kill her she would be the second corpse aboard this ship.

Her face began to turn blue as he just held her there menacingly. Her vision began to grow fuzzy she heard some garbled language. Her life began to slowly flash before her eyes and she knew the end was near.

He growled in frustration as the pilot spoke to him. What the frak was he doing thinking about killing a woman that was only trying to survive. It was all incredibly frakked up just this morning he had woke up in a hospital not knowing who the hell he really was. With names of people in his head he didn't know and now he was jacking a ship about to murder one of its occupants just because he didn't know who the hell he was.

Give it up chanted one of the voices in his head. Telling him that everything would be explained if he just gave up. The other voice told him not to show mercy to this woman to release her because she was begging for life with her eyes.

Cade decided whomever he was he would not kill this woman in cold blood. He threw her nearly lifeless body to the side onto the grated floor. It fell like a sack of potatoes. He didn't move to check if she was still alive or not just grabbed onto his short hair and pulled it tightly in confused frustration.

"WHAT THE FRAK AM I DOING?" He screamed at the top of his lungs.

He glanced over at the console there was a blinking red light to telling him the comm was waiting for a reply. His eyes looked across the panel seeing another button. He stared at it almost like he was being dared to push it.

She hit the floor her right shoulder and face slammed on the floor first bracing the impact of the rest of her body. Nexus started gasping for air immediately followed by coughs after air finally reached her lungs. She opened one eye as she gulped back air only having it followed by a cough. Her vision was dazed and fuzzy so she could barely make out the silhouette of the man at the console he looked more like a blob of running colors.

She felt a trickle of blood running down her face from her right temple. Her head bobbed back and forth as she picked it up from the ground where she had it resting on the floor. As lifted it from the ground the room began to spin in her eyes. Her mouth gaped open to try and take in as much air as possible, she breathed in heavy gasps. She couldn't see well and the ringing in her ears made it impossible to her anything coherent.

Then she felt that all too familiar jolt that told you the ship had entered hyper space. There was no time left to she had lost but it didn't matter her stomach now dictated her next action. Nexus coughed and then began to puke out white mucus out the floor.

Cade had punched the button that jumped the ship into hyperspace just as comm message from the pilot was about to come through giving his answer of obscenest. He had jump right at the very edge of where the atmosphere meets space. Out of sheer luck he didn't rip the ship to shreds as was usually the case when pulling off such a maneuver.

Back on the ground Leo fell to his knees as he could just make out the ship jumping into hyper space. He was at loss for words but his face said it all why me, why today of all days. He began to weep shortly thereafter both for his dead father and for Nexus the woman he secretly loved. His Mother was just in pure shock and could do nothing not even weep her face had turned a pale white.

Back on the ship Cade looked at the blending stars of hyperspace a bit of shock on his own face. He looked down at his hands on the console asking himself who the frak was he. Then coughing and gasping broke through his thoughts of self-amazement and dread.

He looked quickly over his shoulder at the woman who looked clearly dazed. She was just barely propping herself up with one arm and bleeding from her right temple. Again the question of what to do with her popped in his head but this time no answers came to him. The voices for whatever reason choose to be silent.

"Frak!"

He spoke under his breath as he turned around and looked down at the woman there. One of the voices spoke up then saying how pathetic and weak she looked. Cade closed his eyes for a moment and shut the voice out of his mind before reopening them. He then stalked up to her and without a thought grabbed her by the hair and began dragging her away.

She didn't fight it even though being pulled by the hair hurt like hell she really didn't have much fight left in her. She did however make it a bit easier on herself by crawling with it as best she could. She had no Idea what happened next maybe she would get pulled to an air lock on shoved out. At least it was the quickest of the possibilities besides maybe get shot in the head which would be the preferable method.

The thoughts didn't stick with her long as she began vomiting again and the headache from her injury began to creep in. It hurt too much to think at this point so she just followed him as he pulled on her hair. She could make out the sound just barely of a door opening.

Before she knew it she was lifted slightly then thrown back onto the ground but she knew where she was just by the smell. She laid on the floor of the med bay and cloud here the door being shut behind her. Instead of trying to get up though she just laid there and then began to cry as she curled up in the fetal position.

Cade stood there just as he closed the med bay door. He stared at the metal door looking at the shadow he cast upon it. What the hell had he just done was the question that hung in his mind. He knew now that who ever he was, he was not a good man.

He turned around and put his back on the door. He slid down to the floor putting his elbows on his knees that where up against his chest. His hands fell back covering his face as his palms pushed slightly back into his eye sockets. He then pulled his hands away and stared at them for a moment.

"How am I alive?"

As said that he just sat there leaning his head back against the door letting his arms fall against the floor. He stared up at the rusty colored ceiling his thoughts where blank because he had no answers to any of the questions he could ask.
