Is anyone watching this year?

I'm sat in front of the Murray match (which is about to start), and the Queen has come to watch! Like an England tennis player needs extra attention / scrutiny to help put him off... >_<

In all honesty, I wouldn't be paying much attention if not for the Isner-Mahut match, especially with the World Cup still going on. But this has been incredible. 61-60 and counting, and we just hit 200 aces for the match!

I played tennis growing up(only quit around the age of 20 because it was harder and harder to find folks to play with). I love watching the sport.

This Isner/Mahut match is wonderful. I don't know how they can keep going. My arm woulda prevented me from serving with any pace at all after about 3 hours. Hell, I'd probably be serving underhanded by now. :D

The final is in! It's Isner, 70-68!

Even if John Isner wins a Major someday, this is the biggest match of his career.

The legendary Nadal - Federer match in 2008 was the best game I saw. I'd love to see a repeat of that in the finals.

Most dramatic match I ever saw was Sampras/Corretja US Open Quarterfinal in 1996. I'm not sure what the best match I ever have seen was...really hard to say.

I don't even know what to say about this one though. It was more of a struggle of wills than especially great tennis (though the stats say it all...this was an incredibly well played match). These guys will be forever paired in history.
