"The film takes place in 1000 AD and follows a Norse warrior named One-Eye and a boy named Are as they travel with a band of Christian Vikings in pursuit of a Crusade. It has been suggested that they may have instead voyaged west to North America."
This just came out at the end of April here in the UK. I'm not sure if there are plans for an international release.

Saw it. Did not like it at all. I suppose I'm against the grain on this one as most of the reviews are really favorable.
It's very artsy. The dialogue is basically all contained within that trailer. Its awkwardly paced and the trailer misleads you into thinking its something that it is not.
This movie is basically a trip inside the mind of a killer (main character) and its not enlightening in anyway. It just leaves you sitting there waiting for the movie to lead to something and it never does. It just goes limp when it should be growing into something more exciting or rewarding.
That's not to say its a bad movie. I mean it got a 88% on Rotten tomatoes, that's got to say something. I guess? Just be prepared when you sit down to watch this one. The trailer does not represent what this movie actually is.
You've been warned.:lol

It was a weird one, definitely. There is barely any dialogue at all, and all the characters seem to lack any sense of urgency - even when they are in situations that would make an ordinary person scream.
I watched it with a couple of friends, both of whom read different interpretations into what exactly had happened over the course of the film, so the 'plot' is definitely open to a lot of interpretation.
If nothing else, I think the film makers did a great job of creating a really grim setting and atmosphere. The soundtrack is the same relentless, droning noise but has the effect of putting you on edge, constantly expecting something.
Overall: :whaa
