I just heard about this, and it seems like it'll be a really good alternative to the privacy failure, soul sucking social engine that is Facebook. (p.s. I love Facebook, I just wish it cared about me.)

Thoughts?

edit: I got to it through Wil Wheaton's latest blog post (http://wilwheaton.typepad.com/wwdnbackup/2010/06/on-the-internet-nobody-knows-that-youre-a-dog.html)

Nah, all my friends and stuff's on Facebook. Maybe in a few years if Facebook pulls a Myspace and it matures.

Right now, one more social network is not what I need.

I would be interested to see how this has developed in 5 years time though, keeping in mind that Facbeook initially required you to have an academic/university email to create an account, and even then not all universities were 'supported'.
