XD i didnt mean literally but that works. well i have a few ideas for a thread. One of them was about a secret base on kamino that had been abandonded by the empire though the storm troopers their and the automated security system still work. Kind of like from children of the jedi. That seems kind of far fetched for this site. So a more down to earth idea was a jedi mission the the low levels of corusant to rescue a few people from mercinaries looking for a man who was ex republic intel from the old days who has info about a secret vessel deep in space that holds a weapon the republic was working on. I think we could turn it into 2 parts one where we rescue the man and learn about it. 2 where we try and find the ship and destroy the weapon.

Well, I recommend looking through the first few pages of the RP forum and picking out a few threads to skim through.
There's also the Enclave, where you can browse through some of the more recent stuff in 'The Wheel'.
edit - super basic gist is this though:
2nd Death Star destroyed, but all the pertinent/major movie characters died at Endor.
Empire still controls Coruscant
Jedi are just now beginning to come out of hiding and have formed a small ragtag fleet, supported by the Rebel Alliance

Well hes a corellian born politicians son who was a cop most his life to this point who is now heading to become a jedi,. at this point in his training he is more likely to use a blaster.
Right now he is at the jedi fleet but we can move him where ever for a thread.

Rather then starting out on the Wheel, why don't you have your first thread be getting to the Wheel with Sanis' help? Would make for a fun adventure I bet :)

That would work, we just need a Jedi riding shotgun with us to convince us that picking Yarbuck up is worth our while. The Wheel's tough to get to, so it naturally makes for a good story to get there.

Heyo, sorry I haven't stopped by to say hi yet. RL has been keeping me busy. Anywho as some advice as a Jedi. Do not act openly with your abilities in Imperial space (or at least try to limit it).
The Inquisition has a very strong presence on a lot of Imperial controlled worlds (especially the deep core, core, and inner rim). Think of the Inquisitors as the people who do the Empire's dirty work that even the Empire doesn't want to do, going after traitors, demagogues, terrorist (IE alliance), and rogue adepts (any force user that isn't sanctioned by them) and use almost any means necessary while generally keep out of the public's eye.
If you do have a wish to involve the Office of the Inquisitoriate in any of your threads or would like to learn more, you can drop Rossos Atrapes or Karl Valten a PM. I play Karl Valten primarily, no idea why this account is logged in. :)
Welcome to the boards, I hope you enjoy it here! :wave
Edit, actually it'd be a good way to get onto the wheel from square one. Start off on the run from the Inquisition. I won't be able to post for about another week and a half, though, as I'm scrambling to get things sorted out for an internship.

^ :) That is probably the thing you have to keep in mind the most while playing a Jedi.
Going around declaring yourself as one to 90% of the population is probably the equivalent of painting a giant target on yourself. There hasn't been an open organized "Jedi" force since the purge done by Empire and all those that remain are pretty much in hiding (just now starting to come out a bit as Lok said). There's a group that have joined together in a space convoy called The Wheel - but the location of this group is a very closely held secret that the average individual simply wouldn't know, and it's definitely not information that gets thrown around lightly.
Basically... the Jedi are being hunted, big time, and have been for quite sometime now.
So while a Jedi "mission" isn't an impossible task - you wouldn't be running around as the "shining light of the universe" waving your lightsaber around without a care as if no one will do anything to you simply because you're a force user. ;) Odds are... someone would take notice and either point you out... or hire someone to follow you around hoping you lead them to more Jedi where they can either exterminate the lot of you... or you know, sell that information. Either way - it'd have huge consequences that the rest of the Jedi that exist may not really appreciate.
