I'm always askin' what music is out today that is actually GOOD. Most recommendations end prematurely. But Ronald Jenkees was surprisingly good.

Steve Miller Band's and Tom Petty and the Heartbreaker's new CDs just came out this week and I've been listening to them.

Holy crap, when did they release the Lion King score???

Sadly they haven't. There is an online petition for the complete score to be released but the only way to get hold of that music is from bootlegs, but I find the quality is either lacking or they're incomplete. I had to access a website today using a Russian proxy just to get my hands on a few tracks. :ohno

Still just absorbing the new Foo Fighters album. Morgan's word is law, this album rocks. Though I have my favourites, every single track has something special in it. The tempo from song to song (as well as within some) is nice and varied. As I said to Morg last night, the whole record is dripping with touches from all their previous albums making this a sort of amalgamation of everything that's come before it (from the band).

I have to mention 'Arlandria', 'These Days', 'Back and Forth' and 'A Matter of Time'. The middle four tracks of the album are so far my favourites, with A Matter of Time being the real head bopper for me.
