Such an awesome game. I am sure most people have it already, but on the off chance that you don't (or don't have Steam :whaa) get it!

Starts singing:

This was a triumph.
I'm making a note here:
"Huge Success"
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.
Aperture Science. We do what we must, because we can,
For the good of all of us, except the ones who are dead.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake.
You just keep on trying 'till you run out of cake.
And the science gets done, and you make a neat gun
for the people who are still alive.
I'm not even angry.
I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart and killed me.
And tore me to pieces,
and threw every piece into a fire.
As they burned it hurt because I was so happy for you.
Now these points of data make a beautiful line
and we're off the beta, we're releasing on time.
So I'm glad I got burned,
think of all the things we learned
for the people who are still alive.

Go ahead and leave me.
I think I prefer to stay inside.
Maybe you'll find someone else, to help you.
Maybe Black Mesa.
That was a joke. Haha. Fat chance.
Anyway, this cake is great.
It's so delicious and moist.
Look at me still talking when there's science to do.
When I look up there it makes me glad I'm not you.
I've experiments to run,
there is research to be done on the people who are still alive.

And believe me I am still alive.
I'm doing science and I'm still alive.
I feel fantastic and I'm still alive.
While you're dying I will be still alive.
And when you're dead I will be, still alive.
Still alive, still alive.

I hope everyone downloaded the game in time.

Anyone who is new to the game, how did you find it? :D

I'll have to re-play it. I first played it when The Orange Box was released but there's been a lot more content added since then. I love the setting. My favourite parts are where you find the secret areas where other test subjects have tried to escape - reminded me of The Island a bit.

That's what the training center is for =)

Just remember, cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test.

I think the most frustrating part of the game was the part after you come across the first rotating cannon that locks onto you and fires vaproizing balls at you. Y'know, the part where you trick it into shattering the glass walls. There is a duct you have to get into that's above the ground, and for the life of me I couldn't seem to be able to get in it. Finally I had to go back to the cannon section, grab a chair, and very precariously balance on it to crouch jump into the duct.

Oh yeah, I remember that part. It was driving me crazy.

If you do get stuck, it is no shame using the walkthroughs on YouTube for hints. :)
