Denon 911

OK so I have been wanting to do something different. The talk of an Imperial Judicial fleet GOt me thinking. Just so has it Reno 911 was on at the time. And my admiration of I.M.P.S. and other web star wars stuff planted the idea in my head.

Ok so The story would be set around the local Imperial forces of Denon with a free hearted feel. serious but not too serious. I think of squads working cases and encountering everything we can think up while dealing with each other and life. I figure we can have a group of officers who are regulars but any character can make cameo visits to Denon. Just something to have fun basically.

the group is headquartered on the Vindicator Heavy Cruiser Overwatch. there is also a planetary HQ for the system security forces and 2 golan 3 stations in orbit, Alpha Station and Beta Station. names can be worked on later if this gets a hit.

Do they even need a vessel in orbit? I think it would capture the backwoodsy feel if they didn't have one.

they would need some sort of navy for anti piracy and traffic violations. I figure they have a small group of Patrol craft and customs frigates to patrol. They dont need a destroyer or even a heavy cruiser I just figured something To act as a remote HQ on the outside of a system and for any major anti-pirate work. A vindicator is by far the best patrol ship choice for a non offensive group like Denons police force. It can handle any frigates a pirate group may throw at it. Denon is the second largest populated planet in the republic and sits on the cross roads of 2 major trade routes. It would not get much use just act as a mobile HQ if needed. As for any fleet just IPV 1, Light corvettes, Guardian Custome Cruisers, and Charger Gunships. maybe a Carrack tops. The Overwatch is more to house be a big hanger for operations which may need something more. Plus they are pretty!:)

Its more of a planetary thing. I know few will do much ship to ship stuff which is cool but the option is there if wanted. we may want to chase some pirates around the outer edge of the system who knows.

I think the idea is absolutely cool. Id visit. And if you want somebody to play in the squad I'm game.

Any part you would like to play in this is fine. I wanted to throw the ida out and see who much intrest it got then go from there on how to do things. A investigation squad would be nice.

Maybe we should do it on another world. something smaller and more backwoods?

That sounds kindda cool. I know that I would show up. Tarrick might have found a date over the holonet and he shows up, but it isn't even the species he expects. Then get caught in a sting. Imperial Leather underwear, rank cylinders and boots... and nothing else.
