For me it came down to either Dances with Wolves or The Hunt for Red October. But overall I think Dances is a better movie, despite some really good scenes in October.

Ironically I've never fully seen that movie, only glimpses of it, even though part of the film was shot at the Southgate Shopping center out on the south side of town.
