So I've heard quite a bit about this movie since its production began. Finally they have a trailer for us. I've liked Rodriguez past movies hopefully I will like this one too. Marked for release July 2010.

In general, I do like Robert Rodriguez's stuff quite a bit, so that does bode well. Plus it looks like a good cast...I just never thought I'd see Adrien Brody in a sci-fi action pic!

All I know is, the Predators were somewhat emasculated in the AvP movies, so if this returns them to total kick-ass form, then I'm in. Big time.

I'm with Rutabaga on this one. I'm a diehard Predator fangirl, and love the first two to death, but I refuse to own AvP and AvP2. That Rodriguez is at the steering wheel in this project is both interesting and makes me rather excited. I like his work, and I really believe that he'll return the franchise to its' roots.

I just saw this tonight, and it was actually pretty good. Adrien Brody was much more believable in his role than I thought he would be and even though every one of the humans was some kind of cliche stereotype, it worked. The initial set up was particularly effective, in that you were literally dropped right into the action. I also enjoyed Lawrence Fishburne's brief appearance. Could have done with a little more gore and action.

Well a pretty mediocre movie but it added some nice little details to the Predator lore. If the writer had not decided to make all of those characters some kind of special forces in their own league some of their actions would have been more understandable.

But Hollywood in general has the tendancy to make special forces members look like particapents of the special olympics.

The actors sold that they are tough guys and that is what made this movie really enjoyable but some of their actions made my laugh out loud.
