Sorry, I dropped the ball on getting this one started on time! Oh well, better late than never!

Pick yer fav movie from 2008!

I went with The Dark Knight, but Iron Man was a close second. :)

Lots of great movies but predictably I think Dark Knight will take this one in a landslide.

Dark Knight was amazing... don't get me wrong. LOVED that movie. But, despite the whole "WE'RE KILLING OUR PLANET!!!!" overkill undertone to the entire thing, I still think Wall-E wins out on my fave of the year. *shrug* What can I say? A movie that can keep me captivated for that long, portray some sort of emotion, etc... for a decent chunk of time with no dialog wins out for me this time around.

Only seen 4 films on this list (The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Grand Torino).

The Dark Knight I would rate the best but the other 3 were quite good. :)

I chose Wall E since I have seen Slumdog Millionair in 2009 at the movies.

Only Frost/Nixon was better than Wall-E

I thoroughly enjoyed Iron Man, was charmed by Wall-E and cried my eyes out at The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - but The Dark Knight gets my vote for 2008.

I just realized that 2008 was a really good year for movies. I liked 50% of those movies.

I can't believe I have to admit this - I haven't seen any of those. Not even Dark Knight or Iron Man.

In any case - movies of 2008 that I did like were Cloverfield, The Duchess, Hellboy 2, The Mummy 3, and The Other Boleyn Girl. I refuse to admit that I wasted money seeing Indy 4...much like D&D 4.0, it does not exist. Its merely a myth -__-

Like the people who pretend that there is a Pirates of Caribean and Matrix trilogy?

I voted for Iron Man, since I barely saw any of these movies and I hated Dark Knight with a passion (fyi it was boring).

Carre - don't tell people here that you haven't seen movies, Charley will tie you to a chair and make you watch them at Burning Nerd! :3

I still regret sitting there and watching half of Caligula. :x
