I'm sure you've all heard the idea that any two people can be connected by their relationships with other people - friends, family, colleagues, etc - in six steps or less. It's relatively easy when you've got thousands of people to choose from... but what if you're only dealing with the few hundred characters we have on Fans?
The game is simple: we start with two seemingly unrelated characters, and the first person to link them in six steps or less is the winner; they get to propose the next two characters, and so on and so forth, ad infinitum. It's a bit of harmless fun, just to see how well we really know each other's characters! :)
As a quick example, connecting Miranda Tarkin with Salem Ave:
1. Miranda Tarkin had a "special relationship" with Sorsha Kasajian.
2. Before forming Black Nebula, Sorsha Kasajian worked for Sasserri Reeouurra / Black Sun.
3. The bounty hunter Chir'daki is also employed by Sasserri Reeouurra / Black Sun.
4. Chir'daki is secretly an apprentice of Darth Callidus, aka Salem Ave.
Seems pretty straight-forward, right? Since games need rules: to connect two characters, they have to at the very least have appeared in the same thread at the same time (preferably talking together, unless you're really grasping at straws). If you're suggesting the next two, try to work out a set of connections yourself, just to make sure it *is* possible. And sorry: saying that two characters are written by the same person is cheating; "Are both members of the Rebel Alliance" is pushing it too. :mneh
