I very much doubt this will happen. I don't see the college making money out of merchandise sales to the expense of Lucas, unless he does the merchandise and gives the college a small, very small, cut.

Not only will this never happen because I know Lucasfilm won't let it (at least not without a hefty percentage of the profits), but now there's also a significant backlash from alumni and also current students and some of their parents. People have no sense of humor, dude!

I don't think you fully appreciate the seriousness of SEC football.

Yeah it's pretty funny but these guys had their mascot (as offensive as it might be to some) yanked out from under them and I think if the situation were reversed I'd be a little less jovial about it in some way.
