Since there appear to be quite a few new characters around, and there are a bunch more pre-existing ones, I thought it might be good to see who's a proclaimed Mando on here.

Bear in mind that there are two factions of Mandos: the ones in the Mandalore System, and the ones on Onderon.

Lilaena is Mandalore of the Onderon Mandos, and the Mandalore System Mandalore is someone unknown (I think) who features in the Independents battle for Mandalore (I think).

Perhaps there are some things that might need to be discussed....? Mandalorian Sith? History here? Maybe Tear could outline his plans for Mandalore again?

Anyway, please post and get the ball rolling.

Mandalore currently is under the Empire's sphere of influence. Mandalorian resistance fighters (Lead by Ani'la Akaan) have been fighting a guerrilla war against the Imperial presence planet side but have recently be squashed and those surviving imprisoned.

Tear will launch his assault on the Empire beginning with Mandalore. Calling out to the galaxy to rise up against the tyranny of the Empire while also announcing the formation of the Independents.

Rescuing Ani'la Akaan from prison there will be a call to all true Mandalorians to return to the "father land";) and take up arms against the Empire. Ani'la will be urged to take up the mantle of Mandalore and lead her people.

Mandalore (the planet) will then become a battleground dubbed the Siege of Mandalore. A sort of stalingrad situation. Lots of battle, lots of destruction, lots of doom.

I like this, because when LD gets her little army mobile, it will cause SO MUCH confusion. :dance

Garith Darkhold

I still have not work out my history here on Fan's but this is the base, so some or a lot of things could change in his history between now and then. (allot could change to get Garith to fit into Fan's unique story line and I still have to discuss details with staff.)

Father Mando'ade born; Mother Ravenchrist Sith Assassin;

Garith was born on the Mando'ade home world. He is aware of the Resol'Nare and as of yet never broken the Resol'Nare. His mother showed him the was of the Sith when he was a child until according to tradition he was trained the was of war from his father. His parents wished Garith would carry out the vendetta they shared with to make the Jedi pay; for their own seprate reasons. After his parents died Garith sought out the Sith to further his training as a Sith where he flourished and put his knowledge to destroy the Jedi to use. During his fight with the Jedi he found out just how pathetic the Jedi were (TGC Jedi) and seen they were destroying themselves within not even following there own codes and let then to poetically destroy themselves. During that time he found out he had a true lust for war or combat. Even though he was force sensitive and new the was of the force he seen his lust for war a sign of The Destroyer God. He also seen the a lot of the Mando'ade of the (TGC) to be infected of the sloth God; Arasuum. Garith had found a sadistic pleasure in war and politics sickens him.

How much of that will be kept I don't know but Garith is fun to play in combat, especially describing the hits he takes.

Also is there any clans in play on the board?

The main difference is that here he would probably not have had any contact with Jedi, as they're all dead or in exile (our timeline taking place just after the Battle of Endor so the Purge is still a huge factor to our Force users) unless he's in his 50s or 60s.

:) We don't have a clan that I know of, unless Darven is in one. I sort of just do my thing with my Onderon Mando'ade. :uhoh Which, by the way, people can RP one of those if they want! They're just unique from the 'others.'

Darven

Gwenchlan has a clan, and I'd been meaning to expand on that...

Darven and Nya are pretty much clan-less. She is a member of Clan Skirata, but since we're not using any EU or Cannon characters for real, I've had to write around that and she's been banished for losing her control, and been floundering around in the galaxy for 10+ years, trying to prove she could come back. With her and Darven re-acquainting herself, the ban would be lifted but unfortunately Tear's little war on Mandalore is going to rather drastically take care of that.

The Mando'ade on Mandalore at the moment, or for the last two years since Endor have been going about their business. The Deathwatch had been destroyed, the Empire wasn't really around, life was going on - just without a Mandalore. No one was into following the old Gods, unless they were small sects.

They pretty much don't want anything to do with either Sith or Jedi, so any kind of Force User would be frowned on. Doesn't mean that there aren't any - Kyrimorut exists and with it a bunch of FUs, they are just inaccessible to the rest of Mandalore and would never admit to being FUs. Like Nya, they'd have been trained as warriors rather, their Force skill being a second option only. But that's all going to be moot soon.

A Sith hanging around and having a family would have to be done covertly, too. They might be better off with Lilaena's Onderon Mandos, since they might still have some fiercer beliefs and traditions than the Mandalore Mandos have.
