So I am curious is anyone else being driven mad by rampant snow storms?

What's this snow thing you talk of?

lol

I was only curious. I live just west of the District of Columbia. I was slammed with 27 inches Dec 18-19 then I got slammed for 31.5 this past weekend. I am being hit again tonight and I am at 1.5 since 04:00pm e.s.t. and its expected to be another 10 to 20 inches tomorrow.

So I'm trying to see how other people with Snow are dealing with it. As a single dad, it absolutely sucks! I remember wanting snow as a child but as a parent, its an outright pain.

That. Is. A lot of snow.

Here in the great Northwest, we don't have any snow. Well, on the mountains, but that hardly counts.

We (central upstate NY) haven't gotten much snow this year, surprisingly. The storm that just rocked the mid-Atlantic states completely missed us (how!?!?!?!). We just had a nice snow storm tonight, maybe an inch or two max. Roads were horrid though, they closed a section of the interstate off just as I was heading back into work for the evening. Took me 45 minutes to get to a place that is a 10 minute drive for me.

I guess we're suppose to get more snow in the next day or two... so maybe 4-7 inches tops by Friday? Which is really nothing and makes me a sad snacky. :(

I started snowing again last night, but gave up after 30 mins or so. I want another Friday evening of romping in it!

Hop on a plane over here, because we've got lots of it. Had 50cm or so last week, then it went away, but last night we got new snow and a good 10cm. That's not much yet but it's said to stay snowing all day and through the night, so there's no telling how much we'll have in the morning.

We had another 5 dumped on us overnight so now its time to dig out the car before even more piles on. >.>

I'm currently looking at almost 8 inches right now from this current nor'easter whopping eastern PA.

It's about six or seven hours later and we have a total of 21 inches.

We ended at 14 for this one. Thank the Lord. Less to dig out than the last one. Make the men of your family dig your stuff out Quietus!!!

Actually my brother lives down in Virginia now with my Aunt. My dad is away on a business trip, so it's just me and my mom at home. Our cars are currently snowed into the carports of the barn. Literally, there's too much snow, we can't get them out.

It's mostly just cold here. They say there's supposed to be snow on Friday, but well. Alabama weather can't make up its' mind for shit.

I just checked, about 20-30 centimeters of snow, depending on where you measure.

Got a call from the boss that work will be open tomorrow so we are expected in the office. Apparently because the street in front of the school is plowed, they assume everyone elses personal streets are as well.

We're supposed to get it this weekend. For once, I hope we don't!

*looks outside* ... still oblivious to this mystical "snow". We actually got a some on the mountains around here during that last rainstorm though... but it all melted the next day.

34 centimeters of it at the moment. Still snowing, though - hasn't stopped snowing for the past 36 hours.

I'm sorry to hear that Sanis! Do you have salt for the ground at least???

The city actually paid public plows to plow peoples drives for them! A bright spot though they said another 2-6 inches of snow on Monday and a possible additional 2-6 tuesday.

LOL not at all. This is Alabama. We don't deal with snow on any frequency whatsoever, so even a scant few inches kills us. People mob the stores here for milk and bread. Why milk and bread? Fuck if I know. The two stupidest things.

I've declared an intifada against this snow. Shit better be gone tomorrow.

No snow here, although plenty of rain. I'll be glad when this El Nino season is over. Hopefully we'll get our normal La Nina pattern this spring.

View out of my window 3 hours ago .... it's been snowing all day again. Winter service has stopped since they have no more salt.... roads are really nasty to drive on. No one's able to drive up that hill anymore.

We haven't seen any significant snowfall for 6 weeks or more here in the supposedly snowy area of Northern Colorado.

Mara, I want your snow :(

It's snowing again now, though it's tapered off from earlier. Nothing significant sadly.

We had like 3 to 4 inches of snow here the other day, and for Alabama...that is a lot. I panicked and went to the beer store. Who the hell needs bread anyway? Beer is nutritionally the same as bread, so...bleh

Haha, that was the funniest thing I'd ever heard of when I moved out here. Chance of snow? POOF! Every store in the state has been cleaned out of milk and bread. What a weird state :p

We're still covered from the last big storm and it's snowing again. Expecting 3 - 6 inches overnight.

They're also calling for another big storm to hit this sunday. GREAT
