I know no fear,
But rather I instill it in my enemies.
I am the destroyer of worlds.
I know the power of the Dark Side.
I am the fire of hate.
All the Universe bows before me.
I pledge myself to the Darkness.
For I have found true life,
In the death of the light.

The harsh desert winds rolled over the empty sands of Tatooine, moving quickly through the valleys and over the dunes of the planets barren surface. The heat of the winds wrapped themselves around Baralai’s legs, moving up his body and through his hair. He took the stim from his lips and placed it back in the pack.

He took in his surroundings, taking in the splendor of where the Dark Side had brought him. For all purposes, it was an empty space in the middle of the desert. At first glance, there was nothing truly special about the place. But, to those sensitive to its presence, the area contained Dark Side energy.

Although now it was a remnant of its former glory, and had died down over the years since Baralai had been there. It was here that Baralai had harvested organs and conducted simple experiments in the staggering heat of Tatooine. People had claimed the spot was haunted by some dark entity, but Baralai knew it to be the aura of the Dark Side flowing from within the ground itself.

In the vision, Baralai had been surrounded by other shadows. They were faceless, voiceless and nameless, but they all shared one quality. They were Sith. Baralai could feel the energy within them, slamming into his body like waves. They too knew the power that the Dark Side contained, and they too knew that it was time for ascension.

But, it was not Baralai who had chosen this path. It was the Dark Side itself that had called him, that had picked him to come and be part of such a moment. He had finally been acknowledged and chosen by that which he revered. He would see things as he wished, with the Sith taking control once again and bringing order to the galaxy.

The strong sense of pride filled him, his shoulders pulling back as he stood straight. His lips curved upward in a sick grin. This was where it would all begin. This is where the Sith would come together, and although the weak would be weeded out, it would be the strong that would take the mantle and bring the Order to power.

The winds took off behind Baralai and exited through the canyon behind him. The low whistle they made echoed in the emptiness of the Valley, calling together those yet to come. The Dark Side was making itself known. Just as the winds had carved the valley from a great canyon, so too would the Dark Side cut a place for itself from the very fabric of the galaxy.

The soft noise of sand under foot suddenly filled Baralai’s ears, causing him to turn to the source of the interruption. His hand instinctively went to the hilt of his whip, ready to strike should someone threaten him. But then, as it had in the vision, the Dark Side washed over him. He knew that whoever this was, they were like him. Sith.

His shoulders pulled back again and his hand went to the stim pack, pulling one out and placing it too his lips. It was impossible to make out the figure until they had gotten closer, and although treachery was the way of the Sith, Baralai knew that there were too few of them left in the universe for anyone to try anything stupid.

The tip of his stim lit up as Baralai took in a deep breath, letting the smoke roll around in his lungs, and pushing it out slowly. Baralai couldn’t deny his excitement in meeting the stranger that made their way ever closer to him. His tongue clicked against his teeth as he struggled to form words.

“T-this. . .will be a moment of the ages.”

The repulsorlift engine of his chestnut swoop bike hissed as it came to a stop overlooking the valley. Tarsis had pushed the small speeder bike to the limits of it design and then some. He wouldn't be able to use it to get back to Tatooine, but that didn't matter. He had a feeling that he would be utilizing other methods of transportation this day. Removing his personal items from the side saddle, Tarsis clipped them onto his belt next to, but not in front of his saber. Nothing would interrupt the ignition of his judgment.

The ebony clad figure dismounted, lifted the hood of his cloak to block out the sun, and walked to the edge of the cliff.

It had been some time since his last visit, as brief as it might have been, but the underlying tone and meaning of his vision beckoned him here and he would answer. One did not receive a personal page by the purest essence of the Dark Side everyday. He knew this was real. In the vision he could taste the hatred and malice of those standing next to him. He could taste their power!

At least the Dark Side chooses wisely... He found himself thinking.

The Valley reeked of death. The carrion dead littered the ground as far as the eye could see but Tarsis couldn't have felt more at home. If his time in solitude had taught him anything it was to appreciate the small things in life such as death. You could only experience it once, true death that is, but in his case, he lived it. He was death. Countless men, women, and even children, had fallen to his crimson saber...

But those days were over. The days of trying to prove who was the most vile. The most wicked. Who could turn the most heads and who could cut off those heads. Now Tarsis focused on improving his talents. Years of self exile and training had focused his mind. He was one with the Dark Side, or at least he thought he was until this vision tainted his previous way of thinking.

The suns were setting when the breeze blew and touched Tarsis' face ever so gently. Just as it had in the vision... it was then that he felt the presence of another being. Close by... And they too had dominion over the dark side of the force.

Taking hold of his own dominion over the force, Tarsis hurdled from the cliff. His cloak rippled with his decent and at the last second, Tarsis focused the force into his legs to dampen his landing. With a small crater in the sand at his feet, Tarsis grinned in satisfaction. The light armor he wore under his cloak creaked and groaned as he stood to his full seven feet in height.

Reaching out with the force, Tarsis determined the direction of the other person in the Valley and set out towards his target. No doubt that whoever this person was had shared the same vision as he had, Tarsis still kept his mind open and ready to pull his saber at a moments notice. It was only when he was some 100 yards away that he picked up the sent of stim sticks...it couldn't be... Tarsis knew only one person who preferred stim smoke over oxygen and that was Baralai.

Reaching out with the force, Tarsis let his presence be known. Each person who wielded the force had their own personal aura they emitted based upon how they used the force. Tarsis used the force for psychical amplification and stamina boost. He used it to make himself a unstoppable war machine in combat. Tarsis felt the force course throughout his body. The light armor tightened around his arms and chest as his muscles bulged. If this was Baralai he felt, the there was no doubt in Tarsis' mind that his old brother form the Sith Order would pick up on this. And if it wasn't, then it was just one more person whose life would be ended by his light saber.

Some hours ago...

When they came, his dreams were of darkness. A tower of shadow rising forth, over-flowing into existence like beetles rising from the sand, like blood from a wound. In his youth, the boy Avesca had glimpsed fragments of the past, of his own tomorrow as he struck away from the Jedi Order and embraced that which he had, deep down, always known to be true. Yet, never before he had seen anything quite like this...

Upon waking, Salem touched three fingertips to his chest and felt the beating of his heart. A strange echo of emotion had carried over from the vision – and there was no doubt in his mind that a vision was what he had experienced. There was an extra-sensory quality to such things, that separated them from the usual flights of fantasy.

He sat up in darkness, alone, and peered at the clock on his bedside table; it was three in the morning. Soundlessly sliding open the draw that sat beneath the clock, Salem retrieved a small hand-held communicator and keyed the device to life. Moments later, a muted light pulsing to life inside of it, it cast a secure signal out towards another identical device, a lifetime away...

Dantooine

It was the scream that woke her from a dark, dream-filled sleep.

The woman sat up in her bed, blinking back the cobwebs of rest, the sheer curtains surrounding her massive canopied bed rippling in the breeze. On her right, Reginald stirred, a hand seeking her own as he murmured her name. Not her title, not the honorifics she could claim, but her given name. A sweet sound, she mused, winding her fingers in with his. At her left, Ourania murmured and curled into her side further.

She used the time to think, to call back the dream from the darkest recesses of her mind. It came effortlessly, willingly sharing its dark, vile bounty with the Sith Master. Kassandra purred with pleasure, eyes glowing with an unholy light as they fell half lidded.

Tattooine.

There...the nexus in the sands...the gathering souls that festered with Darkness...

"Yessss..." the Mistress hissed, a primal growl emanating from her throat as her fangs extended of their own accord. They would journey there soon.

But first, Kassandra was hungry...and Reginald was warm...and intoxicating as she lifted their joined hands and sank her fangs into his wrist. Her free hand stroked through Ourania's silken locks, letting the strands slide across her flushed skin.

Tattooine

The sleek, almond-shaped craft glittered in the light of the twin suns, settled on a smooth outcropping of rock. Atop the valley from the dream, Kassandra stood motionless, voluptuous figure wrapped in what she called bloodsilk - a length of pure white shimmersilk that had been dyed with the carefully harvested blood of her enemies. Drained from them at the moment of death, Dark and decadent power clung to every interwoven thread.

To those so gifted, and even to those only minorly sensitive, who and what she was would be unmistakable.

A tendril of thought curled from her mind, beckoning Reginald and Ourania forward to her side. Fingertips rested rose to rest lightly on their shoulders as the Darkness answered her call and folded around her in a decadent, metaphysical caress. At her command, it lifted the three of them and bore them down the sheer cliffside, appearing outwardly as a rolling sandstorm. Until two other presences registered more strongly as they drew close.

The sand abruptly dropped from around them as they stepped forward under their own power, joining the others.

Was it a bit theatrical? Perhaps. But Kassandra had lain in wait for too long to not reveal herself in such a way.

"Greetings, my Dark brothers." the Mistress purred, crimson eyes pulsing with energy.

Reginald Nil’vak

Of course there would be others, Reginald had surmised as much even before Saevitia's hailing of them seemed to echo across the expanses of desert. It was folly to believe that only his mistress, himself and the whelp were privy to such a vision.

Reginald said nothing, occupied more with flicking off a few grains of sand that had the audacity to cling to his flawless attire after their entrance. The last of the offending particles was launched with careful precision to hit Ourania in the cheek. A smug grin was all that he offered to her when she looked to him. Never a day went by when he wouldn't give the the pale woman some sort of reminder that he was the favored apprentice.

Though today's action would remain subtle. After all, they were standing before those of greatness, in the faces of whom even Reginald had to admit he was beneath... for now. It was not his place to even speak to them, he'd leave that little act of inadvertence to the inquisitive little harpy that Saevitia had insisted upon bringing along.

The moment, however, was all of theirs. The might that was Bogan, the Darkness, had called to them all. All that remained to be seen was for what end it had done so.

Ourania

If she felt any of Reginald's animosity, Ourania did not show it. She barely registered his presence, in fact, as they came to a halt amidst sand. She wore the Shadowcloak of her people, the Umbarans, it's heavy fabric and the heat of the desert failing to elicit a single bead of perspiration from her chalk white skin.

“Two suns...”

With a bird-like tilt of her head, she looked between the two unfamiliar men.

“Two shadows.”

Some hours ago...

Chir'daki's eyes snapped open. With effort, his consciousness climbed from the depths of the meditation he'd been instructed to settle into. His Master had told him it would clear his mind; sharpen his focus; hone him into a more precision weapon, worthy of the name - Sagitta - that had been bestowed upon him.

His gaze settled on the device that had disturbed his peace of mind; a small palm-sized comm device to which only one man had the means to transmit. He reached out for it, but with his mind rather than his fingers; felt the inorganic shape of it within his mind's eye; lifted it aloft with nothing buy the powers of the Force -

Nothing; the device didn't move, steadfastly remaining settled upon the durasteel deck plates before him. He let out a sigh, a curl of frustration at the shortfallings of his fledgeling abilities. He allowed it to flourish, blossoming into warm frustration and anger that washed through him like a clensing wave. With physical fingers he gripped the device, digits finding the activation stud.

A simple message displayed on his screen: a set of Hyperspace coordinates, and a single word: Tatooine. There was no question of what the transmission meant. His Master had commanded a destination, and he would go. There was no message of what he could find there, but that did not matter: Chir'daki's instincts, and the will of the Force, would guide him to where he needed to be.

Unfurling himself from the floor, he plucked the short, metallic cylinder of a comlink from his belt and, bringing it to his lips, thumbed the device into life. "Nate," he spoke into the microphone, addressing the Astromech Droid that served as navigator about his yacht, the Blue Shadow. "Plot a course for Tatooine, and engage when ready."

Tatooine, the word echoed in his mind. His eyes settled on the comm device, still resting on the floor. By your command, Master.

Darth Gravis

Sizing up the competition was one way of putting it.

Keeping an eye on those he did not trust was another way.

Realizing that this would allow him an opportunity to get to know those others of his own kind was the best way. Gravis had lived alone with the exception of the select time he had been under the wing of one of his numerous Masters. It was uncommon, especially amongst Sith for an individual to have four official Masters yet five instructors in their life. Gravis' life was not common so it should not have been a surprise for things to go a little differently for him. The idea of a Sith Order, a gathering of brothers and sisters to unite to some extent was laughable at first thought. Sith were not suppose to form orders. Sith could not trust one another. Yet it had been in that line of thought, the fact that Sith could not trust in one another that Gravis saw the brilliance behind this gathering.

Could it actually work this time around? Could Sith actually align with each other when needed without trusting one another? Could the lack of trust actually be a catalyst to help seal a bond amongst their kind? So many questions yet so few answers. He had been a black sheep his entire life. He had been taught to think differently, he had been taught to keep a sense of his humanity and his personal moral code all the while upholding the rules of the Sith. It was a precious balancing act and one Gravis, had at times, found near impossible to maintain.

His turquoise eyes watched from a relatively safe distance, a good thirty to forty meters away. He made no attempt to try and hide his impression on the force simply because the Knight had never been taught that skill. He watched as the group began to grow, all coming in their own way. Some made a more theatrical appearance than others which impressed the lad though he ensured his body did not display such. Today was business. He acted different than most Sith. He dressed different than most Sith. His goals and objectives were different than most Sith. Where exactly he would fit in with this collective was unknown and whether or not he would get along with any of them was an even greater mystery.

Still, he stood on the sands of Tatooine and simply waited.

The Sith had to be careful of his own thought processes. He had a nasty little habit of snap judgments of people. The theatrical appearance of a woman impressed him, though he thought nothing really of the gents that gathered. Nothing about today felt normal nor should it have but today would have to be a day in which Gravis would need to control his thoughts long enough to gain a fair and precise evaluation of each person that gathered.

Baralai Lotus

Baralai's excitement only grew as the heavy figure coming from the horizon became more clear. Tarsis, Baralai's brother in the Sith Order had come. Not only had he survived the purge from the old Order, he too had been called by the Dark Side to serve this very day.

Baralai threw his stim into the sand, and hurried over to Tarsis. His hand rose and clasped Tarsis's shoulder, barely moving the armor clad figure at all.

Baralai's tongue flicked back and forth in his mouth as his eye scanned over Tarsis's frame. He looked as though he had been training since his time out of the Order. The years had done him well and he bore no new scars or markings, his armor seemed intact. It was clear that he had seen no battle since the fall of the Order, rather a series of intensive training sessions.

"Bored," his lips pushed forward and stammered out the first letter. Tarsis gave Baralai a quizzical look, and he smirked.

Baralai began to shuffle back and forth, and with every turn his heels dug into the sand and tossed little clouds of dust into the air. His tongue clicked against his teeth once before his lips began to form words.

"You're bored," his finger pushed against Tarsis's chest, "You simply have had nothing to do. Your armor tells all your stories since everything fell." Baralai picked up in speed, his words almost running together, "And you've heard what I heard, and so now you're here. But what is it you're seeking?"

His hands came to rest at his side and relaxed. A deep breath came into Baralai's lungs and his chest expanded. His eye lit up and a smirk pulled itself back along the scars of his face.

"Excitement. And I promise, old friend, the Dark Side shall provide."

It was at this point that Baralai witnessed a glimpse of red light, cascading down from the mountain. The waves of Dark Side energy rolled outward from the sphere and over Baralai's body.

So, Baralai thought, more of them have decided to come.

As the sphere touched ground it seemed to evaporate, revealing a woman of incredible physical charisma, a human male and a smaller being. It had pale white flesh, and Baralai was unsure of the gender, but it was interesting to see a being such as it. Never had Baralai encountered a creature like it, and couldn't help but wonder if the snow-fleshed being was some sort of slave to the two that traveled.

Baralai made a mental note to research further into the subject.

He stepped forward and examined the three figures more closely, staying an arms length away but examining them with a sort of hesitance. It was true they were Sith, and it was no doubt as to what called them to be here. But, Baralai had learned in his days at the Order that no one was to be trusted at first sight.

After a moment, Baralai gave a grin, showing off the gaps between his teeth from where his tongue had been removed. His hand reached up and touched the central woman's face, caressing it gently. As he withdrew his hand, his lips pushed together as his tongue moved rapidly in his mouth, forcing the words out.

"A wonderful show of your theatrics," the last syllable slipped from his lips, hissing, "but such a show can have it's consequences." His mind fell back to when Baralai had first lost his eye, and how his tendency to show off had cost him.

"Baralai Lotus," the name fell easily from his tongue, "Sith Alchemist."

As the words left him, a new presence made itself clear in Baralai's mind. Behind them was another of the Sith, and he wasn't moving. He was watching from a distance and keeping himself hidden from the group.

Coward.

Baralai let his thoughts stretch out along the air, shooting toward the origin of the new presence. Baralai had spoken through his mind for years, and it was a talent not easily forgotten.

The scars around Baralai's mouth twitched as his lips began to grind together again, and as he spoke his voice moved itself into the mind of the one watching them.

It seems we have all been called.
"It seems we have all been called."

Baralai's right ring finger twitched slightly, and the mechanisms in his arm began working instantly. A low hum could be heard making it's way swiftly over the desert sands of Tatooine. The gray shuttle made its way to Baralai and the group, slowly turning it's body and landing gently on the sands behind them.

The dust settled and the bottom hatch of the shuttle opened up as a platform gently rolled forward and touched silently on the dirt. Baralai turned to the group and pulled his hands close to his chest, the excitement visible on his face. He muttered things to himself, taking mental notes of the surroundings at this very moment.

"I know the reason you're all here. You've seen what I've seen," Baralai swallowed the last word, letting it swell in his throat as he took in another breath.

"You heard the Oath," Baralai stepped closer, his shoulders rolling back as he stood tall. His words became steady, and his steps became more precise, as though he had rehearsed this moment.

"Exile. The Empire and it's Inquisitoriate have hunted us," his eye flashed, "like animals. And now, the Dark Side has called to us," he took a pause, and the volume of his voice sank, "for a new age."

He took a step forward toward Tarsis as a rage built within him as the Inquisitoriate came to his mind.

His face twisted in rage, and his words shot forward with force, each syllable pronounced with conviction and anger, "And here we find ourselves, huddled together like maggots inside rotting flesh, clinging to the pieces of rotten meat we've been tossed as a means of survival," he turned and stepped closer to the ship. His fist was clenched tightly, the leather of his gloves pulled taut over his fingers. A fire roared within Baralai, as his face settled back. He turned and took a step, his voice coming back to rest at it's normal level.

"Today, we can change it all. Everything. Back into Order," the fingers on his left hand began to twitch nervously, "I know where the Dark Side pulls us, and I've already set the coordinates. Within moments of boarding this shuttle, we'll all find ourselves at the base of a great destiny," his back teeth started to grind against each other, "the temple of Dromund Kaas."

His posture slowly shrank, and his dark hair draped over his brow again. He turned to the group, a wide smile pulled across his face, "Come with me, and I promise," a lazy breath rattled its way out of his lungs and past his lips as he exhaled his words, "that the Dark Side shall provide."

He started toward the ramp of the shuttle, and his hand rose, beckoning those behind him.

"Come," he took his first steps up the ramp, "everything will be explained on the trip." His lips stammered out the last word with little struggle as his mind shot a message out to the one watching from the rocks.

Your pride is not misplaced. Come.

Tarsis

Tarsis' attention was immediately drawn to Baralai's metal tongue. Its grotesque appearance only added to the disfiguring features of Baralai's face, not to mention the sound it made as it hit the back of his teeth. Already missing one eye, the alchemist now, thanks to his new tongue, was missing several teeth. Tarsis could only imagine what Baralai had been through since the last time he saw him. Whatever it was, Tarsis assumed it was painful and that, in the end, only made you stronger.

In that moment Tarsis realized Baralai was touching him. Looking down at Baralai's finger as it continuously pressed against his chest, Tarsis wrapped the force around it and pushed it back towards Baralai. "Unless you would like a metal finger to go along with that disgusting thing in your mouth, I'd suggest you keep at your side." He said causally. "As for my armor and what I have been doing since the collapse of our Order, its none of your business. I never shared anything with your before nor will I start now."

Harsh as what Tarsis said might sound, there was an understanding between Tarsis and Baralai. Neither considered the other a friend, but there was a mutual respect for what each of them brought to the table as far as the Dark Side was concerned. Baralai was the brains, or so he thought, and Tarsis was the strength.

Tarsis walked off to Baralai's right and sat atop of rock as the others started arriving. The three that floated down from the heavens and their love for the theatrics highly annoyed Tarsis. It reminded him of the vampire sith Ambrose Braeden. His long drawn out speeches and his overly obnoxious use of the force was something that Tarsis hated. The force was meant to be used for power and dominance over those weaker and less intelligent, not provide them with entertainment as if it was a film being air over CoroNet. Tarsis made note to bring it up at a later point.

Tarsis also made note of the presence he felt waiting out in the shadows. Some fifty yards away, this person was either too afraid to confront the group or smart enough to figure out exactly what he was getting himself into. If it was fear, this person was a waste of space and therefore a waste of Tarsis' time. If it was out of patients and alertness to himself and his surroundings then Tarsis might have use for him. The greatest of the Sith had patients enough to learn who their enemies were. Darth Bane for example, learned all there was of the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness and then eliminated them all in one swift move eventually creating the Rule of Two: one to have the power and the other to crave it. This was something Tarsis believed in greatly and looked forward to implementing. That day was still far away.

It was then that Baralai started giving his speech. Same old Baralai... Tarsis thought to himself. Elaborate gestures and grand schemes, but it was when he started talking about the visions that Tarsis started listening. It was true, Tarsis had had the same vision and had wondered what the meaning behind it was. Baralai claimed to have those answers.

"Come with me, and I promise," a lazy breath rattled its way out of his lungs and past his lips as he exhaled his words, "the Dark Side shall provide."

Tarsis had heard enough.

"You say that you know why we all have had this vision? You say we're suppose to go to this, Dromund Kaas? With you? Well I'd like to know why you? Why has the Dark Side chosen you to be its messenger when there are those far more powerful than you, than any of us, floating out in the galaxy?" Tarsis paused as he stood up from where he was sitting and then continued as he laid back his cowl. "While you might have changed, you're ability to be vague and leave out the details hasn't brother."

With the open curiosity of a child, Ourania watched the inter-play between the motley group. In particular, her luminous eyes watched Baralai Lotus, the peculiar centre of their gathering. It took great effort to pull her eyes away from him, as she turned her head towards her Master – her gaze stuck to the grotesque Sith until the last moment.

“Serpent-tongue.. the shadows make a mouth-piece of him, and how prettily he sings their songs.”

Baralai turned his head at Tarsis, his eye scanning his frame over and over. It seemed that no one possessed insight into things greater than themselves. Although, it was to be expected from Tarsis. Although he was strong, he hadn't been very wise.

"Chosen?" Baralai scoffed, "I was no more chosen than any of you. We've all come here together," He stepped forward, at the foot of the pathway that had rolled out from the transport.

His hands came to rest at his sides as he leaned forward, and his back formed the familiar curve so common to his posture. He turned and looked at the sun, "We have all been called to serve. The Dark Side has called us to Kaas," he stopped for a moment, "I have searched into the signs we've all seen. The temple we saw sits there."

"It was a planet of the Old Sith Empire, left in space to rot. There the destiny of the Sith awaits, and I intend to discover it for myself," he turned his head toward Tarsis, "As for following, you may do so if you choose. I have intentions of going to Kaas and seeing for myself the power of the Dark Side," the bottom of his boots began to clink on the metal of the ramp as Baralai made his way inside the transport.

Those who meant to understand the Dark Side and its strength would come with him. Baralai took a seat inside the cockpit of the transport, and his hands moved onto the controls.

Although Baralai had flown few times in his life, the setting of the auto-pilot was easy enough to understand. A blip appeared on Baralai's radar as another ship came in from the horizon. Baralai had no idea who the ship had belonged too, but if they were stupid enough to assault him and the others, they would find themselves staring down several lightsabers of angry Sith.

Baralai heard footsteps coming up the ramp of the transport and the left corner of his mouth twitched as he fought back a smirk. His right pinky flexed, and a radio signal flashed on the computer.

A small screen flashed before him, and his right hand rose and typed out a message.

Many have shown. Plans go for Kaas. Voltur out.

The screen was gone as soon as Baralai removed his fingers from the keys. The message shot itself through the emptiness of space and flashed again on a screen halfway across the galaxy.

Good. Baralai thought, Everything is as planned.

Tarsis

Tarsis chuckled to himself as Baralai gave his retort. For all of Baralai's intelligence, he was overly rehearsed, if not predictable.

"It seems you have an answer for everything these days..." Tarsis found himself saying as he watched Baralai walk up the ramp. "But know this, be it the Dark Side or the next Sith Lord, I serve no one but myself. Now, let us travel to this, Dromund Kaas, and find out why we have had this shared vision and be done with it. I have things to do,"

With that said, Tarsis walked over to Baralai's ship and boarded. Tarsis would never allow himself to serve under someone else's rule; it was his rule or no ones. No one would play out Tarsis' destiny for him. This was something he knew with visceral certitude. As for Baralai and Dromund Kaas, Tarsis would take from the both of them what he needed just like he took from the force and then drop them like a bad habit.

The ships engines fired up and the mass of the ship picked up easily and started its way out of the atmosphere. The journey had begun, with many coming to the call of the dark side. The ships took off one after the other, each following Baralai's ship as it flew up into the darkness of space.

As the ship came to rest in the emptiness above, Baralai looked out over the ebony, jewel encrusted vastness that was before him, and he began to punch in coordinates onto the ships control panel.

As his fingers moved across the console, he turned his head back to Tarsis, "The hyperspace routes there have collapsed, but we can find one that should place us close to the planet."

Baralai punched in a few pieces of code, and the hyperspace generator inside the ship slowly began to warm up. It was here that the ship showed it's age, rattling and shaking to get the generator to a point where it could actually throw itself into hyperspace.

The ship shook violently, and then it settled easily, resting quietly over Tatooine, now far beneath the ship.

"Prepare for Hyperspace Jump in 30 seconds"

Baralai crossed his arms over his chest, and waited silently for the ship to flash them through space. His eye closed as he heard the last five seconds counted down over the ships PA system.

Suddenly, it felt as though the world stopped, and everything rushed forward. It was all being pushed by the hyperspace generator as Tarsis and Baralai were catapulted across the vast expanses of space before them.

Then, just as quickly as the trip had begun, it ended. Baralai opened his eyes and unfolded his arms. His body leaned forward as he began to peer into space, looking for Dromund Kaas. The planet was here, close to where they had been dropped.

There was debris everywhere, casually floating, undisturbed for ages most likely. Baralai was trying to take in everything that was around them, all of this open space was once filled with Sith ships. Each one carrying soldiers of the Dark Side, deadly denizens of the Empire. It was surely a sight to behold.

Soon, it would all be as it once was. It would all be back under Sith control, and before long, the entire galaxy would learn to kneel at the strength of the One Sith.

Baralai punched in the coordinates of Dromund Kaas, and the ships engines once again fired up as the ship began to trudge slowly through space. They would arrive and touch down in a matter of moments.

"Soon," Baralai said out loud, "Soon, everything will be made clear."

He shut his eyes again, letting his body rest until they arrived on the planet. The Dark Side would not surrender its bastion so easily, and Baralai and the others needed to be prepared for the worst.
