I voted LotR on the other threads, but Kill Bill has to win this one for me.

Return of the King was my absolute favorite of the trilogy...I can't watch the battle of Minas Tirith enough times.

I voted for that, but Mystic River was a very close 2nd.

...I just had to look over my shoulder where my Kill Bill Vol.1 poster is on the wall in order to know what I was going to chose.

I'm with the consensus thus far - awesome as LOTR was... Kill Bill was just... more so.

Return of the King is probably the best movie up there, but Finding Nemo holds a special place in my heart. <3

I went with Big Fish, because I could probably watch that movie weekly and not get tired of it. :)

3 way between Return of the King, Kill Bill, and Big Fish.

In the end, gotta go with Kill Bill. Just way too much fun.

I went with Finding Nemo. Return of the King is possibly the best movie, but the ending kinda messed it up. Too many fade outs. Lost in Translation is one of my favourite movies of all time. That said, it's a good movie, but not the best. At the time I watched it, it stuck a chord, and it's stuck with me ever since. So I went with Finding Nemo, because it had a great story and voices, and was generally just well put together.

Finally voted Lord of the Rings. More of a vote for the movie as part of trilogy then anything. I didn't want to vote lord of the rings 3 separate times.:lol

Really wanted to pick Kill Bill because it was entirely awesome but I'll probably vote part 2 when its up instead of voting Kill bill twice.

Edit: Old boy is a great movie too.

A no brainer for me. It has to be Lost in Translation.

I voted for ROTk of course, my favorite film in the series.

ROTK got mine simply because I avoided the other LOTR things since I wanted to somewhere collectively vote for them.

Though Finding Nemo, Big Fish, and yes... even Pirates... were considered.

I didn't like the scene where the little cabin boy got his arm amputated. :cry

Master and Commander

I really liked this movie as well.

I dont know if I liked it or not because I fell asleep in the middle of it.

I'm just put off a film everytime I hear Russell Crowe doing his overly-serious husky Gladiator voice so I didn't even bother watching Master and Commander. For example, I realised I quite liked him as an actor when I saw him playing this really slimy sleazy character in Body of Lies. For once, it was him not thinking he was Maximus Greenwich Meridian Mean Timeus!

Poll appears to be closed now, so that makes Return of the King the winner for 2003 :D
