Darth Bacillus

The Togruta made her way cautiously through the den, her bare feet making no noise as they slid gently across the olive colored carpet. The female's focus was set entirely on her senses, the most important being sound. No movement in the den, and no one had made a peak around the door frame, the Apprentice had to rely on her opponents own mistakes and hope one would be made to give away their location. Bare feet were typically uncommon for an individual but Togruta's viewed shoes as a hindrance. As she walked, the soles of her feet warmed as they continued their glide against it. It was almost symbiotic in nature. Togruta felt empowered, stronger when their body was connected with the earth beneath them while at the same time they felt as though they were giving back in some facet.

Continuing out of the den, she made her way through the dining room and around the table, towards the entrance to the kitchen. Standing just under six feet, Darth Bacillus was not the most imposing figure. She was slender, elegant in frame yet what she lacked in stature, she made up for in personality. People under estimated her, under estimated what she could do simply because she was just another pretty face. Undoubtedly she had heard the cat calls and snyde comments about her looks, more specifically aimed at specific areas of her body yet more often than not, when the angry beast within her was let loose people got quiet... fast.

Wearing black pants topped off with a black blouse, Bacillus turned her focus to her Montrals. The head protrusions of a Togruta were highly sensitive. They could pick up vibrations through the air that helped them locate prey; an ability that was widely used on Shili, amongst the Tribes of Togruta that roamed the planets plains. Here and now though, it was next to impossible to pick up anything. Walls and doors were a hinderance which blocked the movements of the air, either nullifying them or outright shutting them down. Her target was smart, ellusive and knew just how to combat her. The cat was currently at the disadvantage and she did not like it.

Just as she was about to place one foot on the kitchen floor, her eyes shot to the floor. Light reflexed off glass shards that sprayed out, in all directions. The entire kitchen floor was covered. 'Smart.' Bacillus thought quietly to herself. Raising her palm, she quided the force and moved the shards to make a clear path out. The problem that arose was the noise. They caused a light scratching noise against the floor itself or clanked against one another, which could have been heard within the any room of the quiet home. Her Master wanted this homeowner dead. It would be done. Still, one had to find the prey first before the real fun could begin.

Through the shadows of the home, around every corner and in every room, nothing was seen nor heard. The homeowner was still here, Bacillus could feel him, could sense him yet he was elusive, sly. This forced the Sith Apprentice to take a new approach, divide and conquer. In each room she entered and cleared, the Apprentice of the Force destroyed various objects, whether they be furniture, small nic-naks or other devices. Once destroyed she littered the rooms entrance points, creating a semi-barrier. So far, the foolish homeowner who dared to attempt the game of cat and mouse with a Togruta had been unable to back track anywhere. Darth Bacillus had him pinned, had him cornered and she knew it as she entered the final room - the Master Bedroom. She had been in here once before but by the time she arrived, the man had already fled to another point of the home. This time, with barriers to alert her to his movements, he had no where to go. The only room, the only part of the home now untouched by the Sith Apprentices cruel hand was this bedroom. The bed was beautifully decorated. A four post canopy bed a solid wood dresser, various family portraits up. It was tidy. It was clean. It was so un-male like.

"Come now." Bacillus spoke. "You know why I am here. Reveal yourself and I'll make this quick." She heard the movement originating from the opposite side of the bed, from the unseen portion of the floor as a man slowly stood, a blaster pistol gripped firmly in his hand.

He was taller than she expected. Six feet three inches, possibly four. A tad bit on the chunky side, his face was unshaven, his beard untidy. His eyes were not intimidating, in fact they screamed fear. His nerves were on edge and Bacillus now knew she controlled everything. She was efficient and determined, he was nervous and scared. "He sends his lackey? Isn't he man enough to do this himself?"

A sneer formed on Bacillus' lip, "Trust me. He is all man and the only human I can frankly tolerate. He sends me because you are beneath him. You will not be killed by him, not given that honor. You will be dealt with by me. You will be dealt with by his protege'." From what she knew of human behavior, when it came to issues such as this, it was highly insulting to not be confronted by the person who wanted you dead. Something to do with ego's, perceptions or some other non-sense that was not typically seen amongst the Togruta species. Before the homeowner could rebuttal, could even get a chance to pull the trigger of the pistol, the Apprentice sent a wave of the force crashing into the man, his body jerking backwards and slamming into the wall behind him - though he did not fall to the ground. Bacillus extended her arm, summoning the force to begin constricting the airways of the mans windpipe all the while keeping him in a upright and standing position. The blaster dropped from his hand, his eyes rolled into the back of his head as his lips began to turn purple.

Life was simply precious. So easily created through a deed of lust or, as most commonly happens around the galaxy, through a drunken sexscapade yet it was just as easily extinguished. A humans body was so fragile, so delicate that virtually anything could be used destroy it. A spoon, a thumb-tac, chemicals, weapons, anything and everything. Her head tilted slightly as she watched as the purple continued out past the once pink colored lips and to the surrounding flesh. His veins bulged, throughout his face before he finally fell limp and before that last bit of life-spark in him had been extinguished. She stood staring at the body for only a moment. Another notch in her belt, another victim of Darth Bacillus at her feet. A homeowner whom had gotten stupid, ignorant really in trying to form a double cross of her Master.

Moron was the only thing she could think of such a person.

Reinhart Thul

The Offices of the Inquisitoriate, Coruscant – 2 Days Later...

“Strangled?”

Lifting his head, Reinhart Thul gave the young woman stood before him an inquisitive glance. She nodded, clearing her throat as she thumbed a control pad and cycled the computer screen to its next image. It was a body – male, approximately six foot four – slumped between a wall and a carpet which remained plush and clean. It was the third in a series of images provided by the agent standing alongside him, each providing a more detailed close-up of the corpse than the last.

“But there is no discolouration...” Thul's words trailed away as he tilted his chin upwards and pressed two fingertips to the point where pulse beat softly through his skin.

“None at all, but there's no doubt that his trachea was crushed.”

Slowly, Thul threaded his arms across his chest. The goggle-eyed face staring vacantly into the camera's lens was not that of a man he had known. Of course, he was aware in some vague capacity of the victim's existence – they had been members of the same organisation, after all – but it was the nature of their business to remain creatures of intrigue and secrecy. The fact that they lacked a personal connection didn't lessen Reinhart's interest in the cause of the now late Inquisitor's passing.

If nothing else, he had no desire to suffer the same fate.

She had arrived no later than her Master had instructed her too. Darth Bacillus understood two things about her Apprenticeship; the first being that her leash was extremelly long and for the most part she could do as she wished when she wished but the second understanding she held was that when her Master gave an order, she was not to disobey or stray in any way. When he told her to arrive on Coruscant at a specific time, she did it. The Inquisitoriate made Darth Bacillus sick, nauseous almost. The fact that some people actually thought they were doing the galaxy good by screwing with force users. The homeowners who life she claimed had tried getting close to her Master, tried learning of his identy aside from his given Darth name but the fool made one mistake. Her Master was a lot more intelligent that he let people believe and as soon as his own digging around revealed that the homeowner had been a member of the Inquisitoriate, hell was unleashed by the means of a rusty colored Togrutess.

Coruscant was diplorable. A giant city planet that had seen the rise and fall of countless political figure heads. A giant city planet that seemed to be three different worlds in one. The first being the city saw during the day, bustling, diplomatic and beautiful. The second being the city of night were people needed to be careful and if a lonely man wanted, could find a woman to keep him company for the eve. The third being the underbelly of the city where it was rumored that the most dangerous people on the planet resided. Bacillus cared very little for the perseptions of any aspect of the planet. Hopefully she would not be here longer than a few hours. Her target was here, she would find him and she would deal with him. Given his nature, his personal affiliation, the Togruta would need to be quick. Unlike the homeowner she would not have time to toy around. This would be hit and run. The Togruta had no interest in fighting off the countless Imperial personel that undoubtedly littered this planet like trash in the Chesapeake Bay.

With a flick of her gloved hand, Bacillus motioned for a taxi as she exited the landing platforms. A red vehicle pulled slowly up, the driver popping open the back passenger door and allowing the Apprentice to slide in. "Take me too the buisness district." She ordered as her gaze turned out the window. Dressed in work boots, pants, a white blouse and a large coat that covered the majority of her body, the Togruta looked just a bit more formal. As long as she did not run around like a cliche' lunatic, wearing cloaks and waving her glow stick about like a baboon, she should be able to fit in... for the most part. All she needed was to get close enough. Quick and painless. Fast and Precise. That was Bacillus.
