Actually, no. You see, to nullify a sound wave, you need to have the exact wavelength and also start the noise in opposite - so when the wave is at the highpoint, the negating soundwave is cross at the bottom point. This is called inverted channel nullification and needs to be very precise.

Zombie babies squeal at one wavelength, while it's pretty clear that Celine Dion wails at various levels, thus nullification wont work

However the next issue is the energy level, otherwise known as decibels, which doubles every 10 db. A zombie has no need to breath and a zombie baby has very undeveloped lungs, leading to a lack of power and thence reduction in db. Celine Dion is a trained killer with the voice, with a large set of lungs (But not the kind of lungs Mariah Carey has and I'm not talking about the lungs you put your face between and go bwaddabwaddabwadda anyway) and a trained voice to project with a great deal of power. To nullify requires similar power levels so that one wave doesnt overcome the other one.

The last problem is that of course zombies dont exist and have been made dumb by overzealous fanboydom on the Interwebs and thence completely ghey, much like Twilight is completely fucking ghey. Celine Dion unfortunatly exists and the pain and terror of the Titanic Theme is indeed ugly and was in fact and in truth used as a torture device in Guantanamo Bay.

At least you only had Titanic and the aftermath... That's to entirely neutralise the wave, aye; but that isn't the only way to screw up a signal. A much easier route would be to rely on interference. If you have sufficient constructive and destructive interference going on, you can mutate the shape of the waves after they've interacted, and turn it into something completely different.

The question I have is, are those the traditional 4 inch models or the aptly code named lazy-dog type that are an 1.5 inch in length?

*smiles* What I do is considered an art in many circles, Gravis.

My blades are far from traditional, I'm afraid. While I do have several of the delicate 4 inch length blades with the solid handle, the majority are between 6 and 8 inches in length. Hand forged, of course, not machine processed.

I find carving is much more enjoyable with a longer blade.

Touche' and probably a lot more sturdy than that which the waring parties of World War 1 dropped on one another from aerial attacks. The question I ask is how do you forge your metal and which metals do you use? You mentioned phrik alloy earlier, is that your primary?

Unfortunately I do not know much in the means of torture nor in metallurgy so my understanding of shaping metals and carving out adequate utensils for ones personal desires is limited.

As for metals, my blades are all Mandalorian iron. Phrik alloy has proved an elusive and very expensive quarry that is not yet within my means to grasp.
