I know there's a lot of movie fans here, so I thought I would share this journal entry from Roger Ebert. His cancer fight has progressed to the point where he is unable to take anything by mouth, so he's got a feeding tube now. And he's written a really interesting and wistful essay on food and the memories asssociated with them. It's a little on the long side, but worth a read. Bless his heart, he's fighting this fight with great humor and dignity.

I've always liked Roger, even if I didn't always agree with his movie reviews. Now I've come to realize what a strong, admirable human being he is. Can't say it any more simply than this: Roger Ebert rocks. :)
