One of the few college students that were employed here greeted Phebe with a pleasant smile as he strolled by with a box in his hands. He was wearing typical street clothes, clean of course, with an apron on. "Hi! If you need something, lemme know." He went off to restock some of the newly shipped German chocolates that arrived.

An older woman in her late 50's was busy ringing up customers at the front desk, where there was a decent line of five in line - but no one looked bored waiting. There was plenty to see and smell while they waited, as well as free samples to tantalize the taste buds. From hard candy to fresh bakes goods of various varieties, there was something to make the mouth water for free.

Of course there was only thing offered to Phebe that the others could not partake in, for they were not Immortal. The familiar buzz in that back of her mind that indicated that Nikoleta was somewhere inside the store. The back perhaps?

She smiled back at the college student who zoomed right by her offering to help her if she needed any. She was about to say thasnks but he was already on task of putting out what he had been carrying. Phebe took in the sights and smells as the music pumped into left ear from the only ear bud she had in. In her head everything seemed to move tot he beat of the music she was listening to even that annoying buzz in the back of her head.

Phebe looked at the line of customers even smiling at one of them who turned to another person in line "Is that?". The person next to him just shook his head no. Phebe just stood there a bit longer in the center of the store looking around as it brought back old memories. Memories of all the other shops Nikoleta had run in the past. The wonderful smells and taste every one of them had to offer.

She turned to the college kid. "Um sir?" He turned around asked her what he could help her with. "Where is the Ambracian?" He just gave her a blank stare then said "I don't think we have that?". Phebe just rolled her eyes. "I mean where is the greek woman that runs this place?"

"You mean Nikoleta?"

"That would be m... her?" she had to refrain from calling Nikoleta mother. Her adoptive mother anyway but she didn't want to cause the poor boy confusion.

"I can go see if she is in the back? You are?"

"Please do see if the old woman is back there." She said jokingly with a sense of care in her voice. "Just tell he the Goddess of war demands her presences." Again phebe gave the boy a smile. "Trust me she will understand." The refrence of coarse was to the Athena and the fact that Phebe was from the city named after her.

Scratching his head, he shook it with a smile, "A'right. I swear tho, she has some funny friends. All the insides jokes make my head spin."

Giving her a wide toothy grin, he rounded some stock to go behind the counter and then through the door inside the back room.

"Hallo Nikki?" he called, his voice carrying all the way down the long hallway.

Nikoleta had poked her head from out of the walk in refrigerator, hair tussled about from moving boxes, "I take it I have a visitor, Benjamin?"

Benjamin stopped and crumpled his face, "Ya know that's creepy."

"What is?" she asked innocently.

"You know what! It's like ya gotta six sense or sumtin' when a visitor arrives. But yes, ya do. This one says she the Goddess of War. I take it, it's a Greek joke?"

Nikki laughed and walked out and closed the metal doors to the refrigerator, the large door clicked into place. "You could say that."

Adjusting her crimson red baking apron that had become unkempt and loose, she made her way passed Benjamin with a wink, "Tell her to come back here and we'll catch up. Phebe's a sweetheart."

"I knew it!" he said, throwing up his hands in exclamation while laughing, "Greek inside joke!"
