Need some help creating a sig

I had to delete photoshop a while ago from this computer, since it's old and cranky and doesn't like memory-intensive programs anymore. Now I've got Gimp, which I don't really use much for anything other than photo editing and the odd image manip. Sigs don't work on it, unfortunately.

Question: Would someone make me a sig out of this one? It's an image manip I'd love to turn into a sig for both Caran and Aree:

It should have both their names (Caran V'al Counis & Aree Ankarta), and somehow also have her real name (Nya Halcyon) hidden behind her pseudonym. It should also read "Keeping up appearances".

The background is a bit iffy, but that can be changed.... the cloning tool on Gimp sucks.

Have you tried using Paint.net?

Really? I've never had Photoshop, so I guess I don't know what I'm missing :)

I use Paint.net for all of my sigs and avatars.

I used it for a while before remembering about Gimp. Paint.net drove me nuts.... probably would have been a decent enough tool, but I'm used to Photoshop and didn't have the time to acquaint myself with all the functions. I found it awfully restrictive as a result. Probably isn't, if you know what you've got, but if you haven't the time to fiddle around, it's just annoying.

Probably would be the same for you if you got Photoshop :p

Cos this PC is my mother's, is about 7 years old, and can't run anything memory-intensive.

And my other PC - my proper one - needs a new power supply and keeps booting down every 5 minutes or so.
