Top 10 TV Series of the Decade

Figured TV shows deserved a thread. For a little flexibility I'd say that the show could have started in 1999 and ran the majority of its run in the 2000s to count.

There are too many others that I liked. It was a good decade for television.

Sadly I was without television for a good chunk of the decade but these would be my top 10 that started up sometime this decade. No real order except for when I think of them...

1. Battlestar Galactica (Re-imagined)
2. House
3. Mythbusters
4. Dexter
5. CSI (original series in Vegas, thank you)
6. Bones
7. Firefly (...don't care how short lived it was)
8. Dead Like Me (another short lived thing *sigh*)
9. The Tudors
10. Band of Brothers (yeah it was a mini series, but so effing good!)

The Shield, Rome, Firefly, Band of Brothers, Deadwood are my big shows for the decade. I can't really place them in any rank with confidence, but I fiercely enjoy them all.
