My absolute favorites are How The Grinch Stole Christmas - the original animated one (NOT the Jim Carrey mess); and Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.

White Christmas, A Muppets Christmas Carol, and Elf. :love

In that order. Of course, I don't own any of these. :(

Pinky and The Brain Christmas. It makes me cry EVERY TIME :) Garfields Christmas is good too, plus all the old rankin-bass ones.

TV shows that must be watched every year are How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Shrek the Halls.

Movie-wise, no Christmas is complete without at least one viewing of A Christmas Story. That is my absolute favorite, my whole family loves it.

I also enjoy Elf and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation if I can squeeze in viewings.

A Christmas season without It's a Wonderful Life is not a Christmas season I want to live thru. Not just the best holiday movie, but one of the best films ever - period.

^^Every time I listen "Let it snow" during the holidays I think of Die Hard first and then of Xmas so somehow these things are well connected in my wicked brain.

I was going to go on a fantastic rant on how fucking bad every Christmas piece of shit movie truly is and then you had to ruin by reminding me of those.

C'mere and get a big hug, you just redeemed Christmas movies :D

(BTW, the rest still suck)

It's a Wonderful Life is the best for me, bar none.

I've got a soft spot in my heart for a few others I liked as kids, but some of them are kinda cheesy.

I like Scrooged as a Xmas movie but DT is going to slash me with his axe now for mentioning it.
