I'm honestly not sure how you get going that fast by accident.

I'm honestly not sure how you get going that fast by accident.
Chances are he was in some sort of a high-performance vehicle. I know from experience driving both a 30th special edition trans am and a CTS-V, (both over 450 horsepower), that its very easy to be on a highway, kinda zoning out and then realize you've hit 95-100 miles an hour, especially if there aren't many cars on the road. In cars like that, they can be running at high speeds but it still sounds as quiet as 55. Now, in my ford ranger, when I go above about 80, I feel like the truck is about to fall apart.

I know what you mean. I drive a Chevy Silverado with a six cylinder engine, and it starts to vibrate and wobble when I hit 88 or so on I-4, but when I'm riding in my dad's Sunbeam Tiger Mk II, a dinky little convertible with a Ford 8 cylinder 289 engine, we can do 120 mph, and it doesn't feel much different than doing 60 mph (and ironically, some traffic was still passing us at 120 mph, this was a few years ago when they didn't speed trap I-4 that much). <!-- / message -->

I was just about to complain about the Saints, but then this happens:
Kareem Moore intercepted Drew Brees for 14 yards. Kareem Moore fumbled. Robert Meachem recovered fumble and returned for 44 yards (Garrett Hartley made PAT).

I made too many upset picks this week. I can only hope the Dolphins can close the deal and help me limit the damage. Though I wouldn't mind another stunning comeback by Vince Young... Or Matt Schaub.
As for the Steelers, Mike Tomlin wasn't kidding when he said they'd unleash hell this week. Just ask any fan unlucky enough to be watching the game. Ugh.
EDIT: Well, a 37-yard return by Stefan Logan plus a 58-yard catch by Santonio Holmes plus a three-yard TD run by Rashard Mendenhall makes things look a bit better. Let's keep up the energy, guys!
EDIT: The Titans have twice disdained a FG attempt in the red zone and twice been stuffed on 4th down. Being aggressive is one thing, but they could be trailing by 8 instead of 14 right now.

Holy crap, who is this team in the red jerseys, and what have they done with the Redskins???

The Redskins: the team those winless times can beat, and the time those who are undefeated cannot beat. That'd be poetic awesomeness.

This is painful to watch. Josh Freeman, throwing three interceptions in the Red Zone. If it wasn't for the Bucs defense limiting Carolina TDs....:\
EDIT: Ugh, 5 interceptions by Josh Freeman, add on a couple of missed FGs, and despite being in or close to the Red Zone seven times this game, the Bucs score only 6 points for a loss. But, apart from not being able to complete the drive, the Bucs Offensive overall is looking better, Defense is definitly looking better, just gotta get those points up on the board....
And I just looked at the NFL.com scores and was like, wha wha wha whaaaat? MIA beats NE, OAK beats PIT, and NO vs WAS is going into OT. Ugh I tell you, Ugh.

The Saints stay unbeaten with that FG in OT. The Redskins sure have lost a lot of close games. As for the Saints, I don't see them losing to the Falcons with the way they are playing. So, only Dallas or Carolina can beat them.

I dunno, with the way they played today against TB, I don't see CAR having it in them to beat NO. Now, with the division rivalry, I think NO vs ATL next week is going to be a close call game. NO vs DAL should be an interesting game to watch.

Wow. Just...wow. You've gotta feel for the Redskins.
And yeah, what a wacky day, with OAK beating PIT and MIA beating NE. Plus so far, CLE has been looking decent against SD. Um, at least until that fumble. :evil
