Although, since they don't play each other for the rest of the season, it would be kind of interesting to see an undefeated IND AFC champ vs undefeated NO NFC champ matchup for the Superbowl.
In other news, they are dropping like flies in TB. The Def Coordinator has been demoted and his duties will be taken over by the HC, Raheem Borris.

I can understand her hate for the Cowboys, although I hate the Raiders more so I was glad to see them get humiliated. I didn't even bother watching the Giants-Denver game, I can't stand either team, but I was hoping Denver would continue imploding. I think it is safe to say now though that the Giants aren't making the playoffs this year.

Well I was only barely leaning to the Steelers before the injury to Ben. I just can't see them winning with Dixon who has never thrown a pass in the NFL. The Steelers are just a banged up team right now with too many people hurt.

ARI @ TEN (W)
Yeah, that looks better.
Did you make that pick in time?
What an an amazing game in Tennessee. Vince Young was amazing. 99 yards with 2 minutes left and he completed 3 4th downs. He looked like the player the Titans drafted after that brilliant Rose Bowl victory.

Yeah, it was about 25 mins before the game. Almost regretted doing it too, talk about coming down to the wire.

No problem being in a central time I forgot that was 2:50 here. I admit I was nervous about that pick too. It was a wild game best game of the day though. One thing poor Leinhart, he must have thought deja vu back to the Rose Bowl.

I want to thank TEN for the last second comeback, it kept my picks from being a complete disaster. I still sucked overall, though.
And it figures that just when I gave up on the Niners in absolute disgust, they ended up playing a hell of a game.

I can't help but feel bad for Dixon, I thought this game would be a joke, but he actually played a good, poised game. Too bad an interception led to the loss.

Pats are getting spanked, their D looks horrible...completely lost out there. I know its a lot of young guys but they just look bad.
On the bright side I like the Saints, they are fun to watch and making it look easy.
Figrin D'an
Nov 30th, 2009, 10:32:29 PM
When looking at the schedule about a month ago, I figured if the Saints were going to get tagged at some point, it would have been against the Pats (hence why I picked New England in the game).
I probably should have known better, given how the Saints have played at home this year. If New Orleans gets home field in the NFC playoffs, they'll be in the Super Bowl. When they play in the Superdome, it's like a flashback to the '99 Rams and the Greatest Show on Turf. They're just unstoppable on that fast field with that loud crowd behind them.
I still think the Saints will get tagged for a loss yet... I'm thinking maybe at Atlanta in two weeks or the last game of the season at Carolina. But it's at least conceivable for them to run the table, as every remaining game is very winnable.
Jedi Master Carr
Nov 30th, 2009, 10:51:54 PM
I think Atlanta might beat them. I don't see them losing their last two home games and the Redskins have no chance. I suppose Carolina could beat them if the Saints rest their starters. The key here is Minnesota, and the Saints are going to have to play hard between now unless the Vikings lose. They want to play the Vikings in the Superdome.

Sorry, but that's bull. The Steelers didn't have any less desire than the Ravens did. And they didn't lose because of Dennis Dixon, either. They lost because they made the critical mistakes on defense that cost them the game, particularly in the secondary. I think they'd have had a better chance to win with Ben Roethlisberger, but, for this game, I think Troy Polamalu would have made an even bigger difference cutting out some of those deep passes. Hats off to the Ravens. Barring any more injuries, I don't think the outcome will be the same when they meet again in Pittsburgh.
The Saints played out of their minds tonight. As awesome as the offense was, I'm really blown away by their defense, especially with veteran ringers Chris McAlister and Mike McKenzie. Even allowing a few close shaves, I think this is the best a team has looked this deep into the regular season since the 2007 Pats.

Well I was thinking that more because the Ravens were more desperate, if they lost that game they had no chance at the playoffs, IMO. The Steelers get to play Oakland and Cleveland next who are both horrible, so they are going to be fine. One thing I want to know why was Hines Ward being an ass on National TV calling out Roethlisberger? I think they did the right thing to sit him. Playing with a concussion is just asking for trouble and the NFL is going about it the right way with regards to the rules. Also, we need to get next week's picks up since there is a game tomorrow night.
