Most likely Sony will win the bid war for this. Halcyon Company purchased the rights 2 years ago for $30M. Even in recession times, I'd expect at least double that amount, maybe triple. Terminator Salvation made $371.1 million worldwide on a $200M budget, so there is good money to be made.

Are those the full rights or just the rights for creating new stuff based on the IP?

Looks like it's just 'rights to make future "Terminator" movies, TV shows, games and DVDs' - so I'm guessing that wouldn't include any of the current movies, shows, etc.
