Last year we had what seemed like a pretty successful first foray into Swfans secret Santa. Anyone want to do it again this year? Probably a $20-ish limit again.

I think we had 8 people taking part last year - which is the current number signed up - but if we could get even more in this year, that would be awesome :D I mean, who doesn't love getting surprise gifts in the mail?

So, what are the rules? Are we allowed to send gift cards, actual gifts, stuff that's Rated NC-17 or just stuff thats Rated PG or whatever, etc?

I would rule out gift cards if say, the person lives in a different part of the world. The gift is supposed to be something you can receive in the mail :)

Gift cards are kind of a cop out as far as this secret santa goes, since you are only supposed to be spending about $20 anyway.

As far as the gift 'rating' - use your common sense :mneh I can't really think of anyone here I'd buy something racy for (...well, maybe :mischief)

As far as I can tell from last year, the gifts were mostly dorky little things, books and so on :)

As soon as I figure out the assembly of it, I will - the directions are fairly useless, as they are entirely in Japanese, which eludes me. Except for the one part that is a diagram that apparently insists that I shove a small plastic stick up Vader's ass before making sure his suspiciously high heeled boots settle in the right spots.

There will at least be pictures of the parts this evening, if not a video :)

Not sure if has an alarm, but it is an import from Japan. If it becomes to frustrating to put it together you can fax me the instructions and I'll have my co-worker who is from Japan translate them. :)

Mine was sent off, but since it's a different country it has to go to... it takes a bit. The mail service between those two countries is crazily unreliable - I've had anything from 3 days to 6 weeks. Hopefully not the latter!

The one I am sending will unfortunately be mailed after I get back from vacation. Yes I am behind the curve, sadly, but my brother was in town so I had a good reason.
