John Cleese is actually quite a miserable and bitter man. He's brilliant, but it's a shame that someone so funny is so negative. Although in this case, I must admit, his anger is completely justified.

No kidding. I'd love to see him live but I'm not sure I'd feel entirely comfortable going to this, knowing that he doesn't even want to be on stage :\

From a certain point of view he is just another average guy that does not really like his job but does it anyway because this is the professional thing to do.
So go see him...in the end it is just his job. It is not like he is loosing his dignity when he is doing something he is good in but does not really enjoy himself while doing so.

Otherwise I would have to stop eating at McDonalds since I think it is very likely that the guy serving me hates his job.
