Character Application for Thomas Nulastra

Tom made his way into an Imperial Hanger. A small squad of Stormtroopers were marching across it as they were loading into a Lambda-class, ready to take off into space. Tom parked his basic, almost disfunctional ship, which was actually a conversion of a small cargo carrier into the Imperial hanger. He way at the nearest recruitment outpost to his homeplanet of Corulag, which had actually fallen to a rebellion. Tom had been saved by an Imperial from the death at the hands of a Rancor earlier, and was appalled at the rebellion of his people. He had fled the planet to avoid being slaughter like his fellow citizens were.

He moved to the office that handed out the initial forms and began to fill it out.

Tom handed the form back in to the office and waited for his application to be processed.

The influx of new recruits to the base had been slow over the past few months, as a result processing new applications was relatively quick. An hour or so had passed since Thomas' papers were submitted, screened, and placed in a stack for one of the many officers conducting interviews on site.

The Lieutenant spun in his chair from the terminal on his left to face the new recruit who had seated himself in front of his desk. A brief look over the new recruit and the officer commenced with the interview.

"Thomas Nulastra, you have completed an application to join the Imperial Forces. Should you choose to continue this path you will be swearing unyielding loyalty to the Empress Miranda Tarkin and her successors now and for the remainder of your life. You will also be bound to the chain of command recognizing the governing authority of superiors within the Imperial command structure. You will be expected to follow their orders to the letter as well as a strict adherence to Imperial Law throughout the Galaxy and beyond. Are you prepared to enter into service with the Imperial Forces?"
