I'll be absolutely no help on this decision. I can go anywhere and any time. As evidenced this year, I don't really have much in the way of responsibilities holding me back. It's pretty damn easy to get time off from work on short notice and there are no human beings depending on me for survival.

Voted Winter/Nevada, simply because I've seen pictures of the area where Christin's mum lives and it looks incredible. I really doubt I can make it in December though, what with the Christmas madness and all, but personally, I'd rather stay away from cons since I don't think they're really my bag. Having said that, in the end I'll just go with the flow.

She called me last night and was gushing about how excited she was to meet you all, and about how she can't wait, hehe. I do know that she mentioned she'd be busy for three days in Oct, but she didn't tell me which days, so I'll call her in a few minutes to see what she says :)


edit - She says the 10.10.10 date should be fine. Late October is when she has to take her EMT recerts, but she's gonna double check to make sure.

Aye, I was planning on flying in to Reno on Oct 29, which would be the Friday before, so people are more than welcome to join me :)

One thing to note, I'm going to try and get an afternoon flight out of Birmingham so I can still go to work that Friday and not waste a vacation day, so if that pans out I'd be arriving most likely about 10 pm or so Mountain time in Reno. But, that's my first instinct. If we are able to coordinate landing times well enough that happen in the middle of the day, I'm just gonna take that day off from work and fly out in the morning ;)
