No matter if you agreed with his politics, you have to admit he was a powerful figure in the senate. He will be missed by many.

"End of an era" is the exact phrase I used too. It really does feel like a chapter in America's history has closed.

He really was a powerful, dedicated, passionate figure in the political arena. He is definitely going to be missed.
